Fuck. Had I blacked out? Slowly I fluttered my eyelashes as a throbbing pain surged in my head.
"Shit," I muttered.
"At last! She's awake." A frivolous voice sang and stole my attention. Unfortunately, my vision was blurry, but I made out colorful heads.
A chuckle rasped out of another person. Where was I? Was I kidnapped? Why was something sticky glued to the corner of my lips? Did Abigor punch me while I was unconscious?
"Sorry, I bit you when I was kissing ya."
I raised my head in the dim light. I couldn't concentrate on the place as the group of unique figures caught my eyes. Block! I erected my mental shields before going on with my thoughts. Who were they?
"Abigor Kek at your service, princess," A tall person stepped before me, and my instincts told me to snap at him, but as I slightly moved, a loud chirping echoed in the room. I turned my head to my left and saw a green parrot in the golden cage. You would ask, what was wrong with that? Every time I shifted in the seat, needles appeared around the bird, pointing at it.
"What?" I muttered, and someone laughed again.
"You aren't tied and can put up a fight any time." Abigor enlightened me as his grin grew, "But the bird bursts."
Was this damned man kidding me?
"And why will I sacrifice myself to that parrot?" I hissed at the vicious man as I gritted my teeth.
"Then punch me," Abigor bent from the waist as he offered me his cheek. I clenched my jaw to the point that I heard cracking sounds. I clutched the chair handles as I leaned forward sharply, scorching antagonism seething in my veins. I would gladly wipe that smug smirk off of his face.
But I didn't. I sighed as Abigor threw his head back in laughter. I eyed the parrot. It would live.
"Now, meet my teammates," Abigor slid to the side and offered me a full view of his 'teammates'.
The grinning squad gave me chills as I felt totally helpless and hopeless against them. They looked… out of this world. But I didn't mean only their beauty. I meant their frantic expressions that lightened up at my sight like they detected their prey.
"Rema Han," Abigor announced as the pink-haired man stepped forward.
"Nice to meet at last, little princess," his voice was cynical and drained of any moral. That was the most daunting shit. His voice… He was the one laughing and the author of the dried blood on my lips. Gosh, Rema was one hair-raising male.
Rema had pink hair tied in a ponytail as his eyes gleamed in purple. The noticeable scar trailed across his left eye, from brow to cheekbone. Rema looked unusual and would be considered mesmerizing with his magical color pallet if not crazed look in his eyes and a nasty smirk. His height wouldn't exceed Abigor's, but it didn't taint his charms.
"Mira and Mizu. Mabuz twins."
A smaller in size couple approached Rema as they shared the same features but differed from everything other.
"I'm Mira," the cute girl with reddish-orange curls that fell above her shoulders declared as she beamed at me with the cutest smile. Somehow it alarmed me even more. I could barely observe their faces, but I was almost sure she had freckles splattered on her cheeks and nose.
Reddish-brown eyes sparkled as my attention attracted the piercing on her eyebrow. Interesting.
"Mizu," a small androgynous boy summoned my eyes as they landed on him. He was truly bewitching and far more gorgeous than any female I'd ever encountered with. A fawn hair fell on his shoulders as I drowned in his heterochromatic eyes. The left one flickered blue while the other green.
They both shared upturned noses and petite bodies. I wondered if they had mastered martial arts as the Mabuz clan was known for its outstanding fighting skills above them all.
"Like me?" Mizu inquired with a confident smile but not an annoying one. It was hypnotizing and utterly stupefying. Their looks jabbed me as I was left speechless.
"Yep," a black-haired man chuckled lowly as he sided with them.
My gaze desperately clung to Mizu, but my intrigue ripped a bond between our eyes.
"Luke Mooncrest," He bowed slightly at me. He looked most practical in them. He had half of his hair dangling on his side while the remaining half of the head was shaved. Luke had scars on both of his eyebrows above his brown orbs and a piercing on his nose. Icy cool energy leaked from him as his face was unaffected; only a hint of a smile ghosted his lips.
"Hey, what about me?" Somehow my face moved on its own as the small boy jumped before me with a childish smile plastered on his pale face. Woah? Where did these people come from?
Wavy strawberry blonde hair fell on his forehead as the kid was definitely younger than the rest of the group. He leaned in as I settled further in the chair – his red eyes were captivating. Red. It suited his frantic side that was giving me a small taste of the blonde's mind.
"Ah, Helio," Abigor let out a breathy laugh as he introduced me to the last member of his squad, red-eyed boy, "Meet Rebel, Helio Chen."
In an instant, the boy kissed me, and I cringed as my eyes widened. HELP! I was tempted to become a pedophile! Wait, I was underage as well. Helio's soft lips moved delicately, and I was charmed, tantalized to move my own with his rosy lips. To my surprise, he trailed his tongue on my lips and then pushed away from me, smiling at me in content.
"Down to us, princess," Abigor's voice rang in my head as I glanced at the parrot. I was an idiot, wasn't I?
"What does this mean, you moron? I am about to become a queen!"
"No!" Helio retorted as his face twisted in disapproval. "You are mine!" He growled and caressed my cheek gently but firmly enough to prove his dominance. Helio gave me lion's energy as he was demanding yet cheeky.
He was not being serious! And nor was I! Helio was a fucking child!
Don't panic. Rebel, stay calm.
"Choose the bastard, Rebel." Helio strode to the squad standing in front of them and turning to me with a sly smile while Abigor gripped my jaw.
"W-What y-you mean?" I barely managed the words to leave my mouth.
His dark grin made the hair stand on my body. "I can't let you have my son regaining his monstrous powers, princess. So instead," He drawled last words as he playfully gazed at his creepy bunch, "Choose the one out of my mates to pleasure you tonight."
My eyes snapped open as my own heavy breathing clouded my mind. Where the hell was I?! No way I was staying here!
Fuck, Axel! How could you leave your wicked father alone?
