Chapter 4 - discipline

It was early in the afternoon when the boys woke up that day, after their battle, the injuries of jaren making him sick and barely making them able to move. Jaren would faze in and out of reality, going just as fast as he came. In his sleep he would say things.

It was Bleux who would take care of him. Limping to the beast, scrapping of the metal like wool from the face up, with his sharpened rock, he would then take of a piece of of the spiky. First feeding the probably unconscious Jaren, then getting his own piece.

'Bleux'

'hmm' he responded quickly, making his neck take a 300 degree turn to see his wounded friend. His eyes were still closed, he probably has a nightmare cause he was hyperventilating.

'I am sorry Bleux' he would say, his closed eyes tearing up.

'it's going to be alright' Bleux replied, petting his brother on the head, smiling.

When the two days were over they started walking back to the camp, carrying each other on their shoulders. 'how is your leg doing?' jaren asked

'good, it hurts not that much anymore' Bleux responded. Jaren looked down looking at Bleux his legs, the limp was there, his left leg full with scratches barely healed. He looked back at the den. There was a trail of blood between the, fully eaten beast and the den.

He faced back forward.

'We wil keep walking together, even wounded' he suddenly said.

'yes!' Bleux said, determined.

They would arrive to the camp shocked. The piramide Spears now a pile of sticks. The extras ran towards the both of them, happy, skinnier than they last saw them. The outline of their bones showing, their jaws more defined. The extras would fall at their knees infront of them, cup their hand, doing puppy eyes expecting food.

Jaren deduced that they didn't hunt, they tried, they failed. He hit the closet one on the head with full force, the extras jump backwards in surprise. Pissed off he would force the spears back in their hands, screaming at them to stand up and follow. He asked bleux if they could do their routine, and he said he could it.

They would travel around the woods Jaren's eyes traveling the ground. When he saw jumper trails he tapped Bleux his shoulder is and they started trailing it.

Low on the ground they would sneak around, the extras copied, till they saw a jumper in the distance, nibbeling a tomato like fruit. 'let's do it, just like last time.' Jaren climbed up a tree and when he was high enough he gave a thumbs up to Bleux. The extras would watch confused hiding in the bushes, licking their teeth.

Bleux, with his spear started screaming like a warrior, alerting the Jumper of it's presence. When it started jumping, bleux would pike in the direction he didn't want it to go, leading it to the tree. Jaren would slam it into the ground. Falling on his butt, coughing up a little blood. Bleux would limp to his side, checking on him 'i'm Fine' he said.

The extra's, celebrating, ran to him, going to their knees begging. 'no! get your own food' he snared. The extras begged again but after getting the same reaction twice they became mad. Pointing their spears at Jaren, foaming spit leaking out of their mouth, they growled. 'now you wanna show me that side' Jaren said, while eating, throwing bleux a piece. Bleux wanted to hand the piece to the extras but Jaren stopped him. He told him that they needed to learn.

The extras started rushing Jaren, but their battle inexperience, hunger and Jaren's bigger size would make that they stood no chance. Jaren would beat them all to a pulp, leaving blood on the leaves. He walked away telling Bleux to follow.

'lets find some dry sticks' he said 'we will check on them later'

when the sunset started they would go back to round them up. When he lined them all up Some of them had jumpers in their hands. Apparently they all split up in group of two and copied Jaren and Bleux.

Jaren would pass them all, hitting them on the head, holding out his hand and forcing them to give food, they all coรถperated, giving Jaren a piece of the jumpers. ๐ง๐จ๐ฐ ๐ˆ ๐ก๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ฆ he thought. They would all eat, but Bleux and Jaren like kings.

The next day he would make them follow them deeper into the woods near a river, and make them set camp there. Making a campfire out of the dry wood where they would sleep. They all would drink directly from it. While doing that jaren took a good look at himself.

Bleux and his skin where a little more darkergreen than the rest. His eyes were emerald green and those of Bleux were blue. Bleux his body was also more swole than Jaren, having more of a bodybuilder build.

'how does it taste Bleux' Jaren asked. Bleux did not answer, as he was to busy gulping down the water. When the extra's were done they went to sleep on the grass. But Bleux stayed awake, laying next to Jaren.

'why did we have to take their food?' he asked.

Jaren ready to fall asleep, answered in a soft voice 'to show them who is boss'

'and we do that by taking food'

'no, we do that by making them afraid. And now they are afraid.'

Jaren yawned, turned to his side and fell asleep.

Bleux had no response for what Jaren said, he just looked at the stars and pondered.

the following weeks, Jaren would train the extra's hard. Their day would go as followed, in the morning around eight a.m. they would take a ten kilometer jog following the river, the would be done around ten a.m. immediately followed by a workout, lifting fourty kilograms of rocks, doing push ups, squats and all the rest. At two p.m Jaren would sends the Extras hunting for food, making them stash it for later.

The day would end with a three hour sparring session, first hand to hand then with stick. Jaren didn't ever train some kind of martial arts, so he would just make them have a brawl session or a wrestling match. The Extra's also started to pick up english

The two boys were the absolute bosses of the group, but both were seen differently by the extra's.

Bleux was the kind one, cutting them slack once in a while so they could rest and drink. He wouldn't hit them, he would connect with them, when they made a mistake he would take them apart and train them individually.

Bleux was their safe haven

Jaren was the fierce leader, pushing them, and himself, to the absolute limit. When someone failed to keeps up, he would tell them 'follow my back, it will give you energy's or 'don't give up'. Things like taking a break didn't exist with him. While they would be annoyed, scared and intimidated by him, it did producing results, they were fitter than first. They would feel some kind of pride because of him.

When he was around, a small bow would be a proper response to them. Although Jaren didn't teach this
