Elara lays in her bed as everything replays in her mind. 'Aeneas Harrison, just who exactly do you think you are? And who exactly do you think I am?' she thinks laying in her bed.
'Maybe you are another shameless man too but you were right. You are a handsome shameless man. But that doesn't mean that's it. I still don't know you!' she rolls on her bed burying her head in her pillow. 'We are still strangers who only know each other's names. If only I could get you to talk a little more but I am also not one for....a lot of words.' She sighs. 'Maybe you're right. What does it matter if I'm not even your stupid type? Why am I even having these silly ridiculous thoughts!? It's not like me to stay up thinking about silly stuff like boys or men to be exact. He's more of a man, isn't he? Crap, what's the first thing I know about being a man!!'
She turns laying on her back. 'I should go to bed. Who knows what tomorrow has in store for me.
She turns off the lights and getting into her blankets closing her eyes and waiting for sleep to envelop her.
"What time is it, Robert?" Mr. Crews asks from the back seat of the car.
"Twenty minutes to midnight, sir," Robert replies paying full attention to the road.
Sigh."Elara must be asleep. She never stays up this late, my little angel."
He lays his head back on his seat closing his eyes. "Robert, answer me sincerely, will you? Do you think getting Elara married into the Harrison is the wrong thing to do?"
Robert takes his time thinking since he's been asked for an honest and sincere answer."Sir, I think every father out there would want to get their daughter married to the right man. But I also think It would be good to talk to Elara about this. She could be accepting to do this only for your happiness and not end up happy in the end."
Mr. Crews remains silent thinking about what Robert has just told him. He didn't want to admit It but Robert was right. He normally gave the best advice. Maybe Elara was doing it for him. The last thing he wanted to do was make his daughter live a sad life.
"I guess I'll talk to her tomorrow. Thank you, Robert." He smiles drifting off to sleep. They arrive at his place faster than expected but that's maybe because he fell asleep.

The light seeps through the light curtains and onto her face. Elara rolls off the bed falling on the floor with a groan.
"Well, I hope you're having a better morning than me, Sun." She gets off the ground heading to the bathroom to freshen up. The water is hot and relaxing as it pours onto her skin.
She steps out of the bathroom dripping and heads straight for her closet. Wiping herself dry, she dresses into a black silk dress falling to her knees. She combs her hair placing it up in a neat ponytail before hurrying downstairs. There, her father sits at the dining table having his breakfast.
"Good morning, Pa." She says taking her seat. He looks up at her a smile on his face."Look who decided to come down for breakfast. You look lovely today."Thank you. And you look...Comfy? Are you not heading to work today?"
"That's horrible. What if I wanted to spend my time with my daughter. Are you so eager for me to leave?" He asks facing sadness.
"Not at all. It'd be lovely spending time with you. I'd love to spend time with you today." She rushes to answer.
He smiles at her. "And how was the rest of your day yesterday?"
She looks up at her. It was obvious he wanted to know about her time with Aeneas. "It was good."
"Just good? And what do you think about Mr. Harrison's son?"
"Aeneas? Aeneas is nice. That's-that's all I can say s-since I don't know much about him."
"Oh. so he at least left a good impression, right? Do you like him?"
She looks up at him, her eyes wide. She had not considered liking him yet. Besides, she just met him yesterday. One doesn't just like a stranger....whose name you only know, she thought. "At the very least, I don't dislike him."
Her father stares at her his brow raised. "Do you not want to get to know him-"
"I do!"She quickly answered. "I mean, I would like t-to get to know more about more about him."
"Are you perhaps doing this because I'm asking you to? Answer me honestly, Elara."
Yes and No. She didn't know anymore which it was now.
"No, that's not it, Pa. I think it will work out just fine between us if we try. T-that's why."
"Are you sure?" He asked searching her face for the truth.
"Of course I am. Am not a child anymore. I know what I want."
He lets out a breath of relief getting up and kissing her forehead.
"I was worried you were doing this all because you thought you...owed it to me. I just want you to be happy."
"I am happy. Very happy. I always have been. But now that that's settled...You're getting late for work."
"Of course. Have a great day."
"I will. You too."
