The Celestial Spirit King looked at the Gate of Entry with determination as he floated closer to it. He thrusted out his large hand and put it right on the indentation. "Finally...I shall help fufill the prophecy of old...and Dravis will finally be vanquished."
"Impossible." said Hades as he looked up at the King and the Gate. "The only way to summon the Celestial Spirit King is to break the key of one of the 12 zodiacs..."
"That key...the key of the Gate of Entry." said the King. "Is my key into this world...you could say it is my own personal gate key..It was sealed away long ago by my old friend Captain Yamamoto of the world of souls... You will find there are many mysteries that still remain undiscovered in magic."
"You...you.." Hades said as he shook with anger. "You may open that gate...but it will only be open for 5 minutes tops...I will kill all of you before that happens!!"
Hades pointed his hands at Mikoto who lay unconscious in the sand. "Without her...this prophecy is void!! Amaterasu: 100 Forms!!"
There was a tremendous explosion of purple light...when the explosion cleared, Hades was looking a massive blade imbedded in the dirt. The Celestial Spirit King had blocked the blast.
"You will not harm her." said the King. "She is like a sister to my old friend. And you will not touch her..none will touch her."
Nicole Mavros, who had just glided over on her massive leathery wings and roared at Hades, her dragon form now emitting a massive blast of ethereal energy, shaking the ground around her.
"You don't get it don't you?" Natsu Dragneel was picking himself up from the sand. His fists were clenched as fire began to blast around his body. "Fairy Tail isn't just some guild...underestimating us is the worst mistake you could ever make...our members...we've been kicking butt even before we joined this guild..we've been making bold steps, all for the sake of our friends..you'll never beat any of us.."
"HAHAHAHA!!" Hades laughed. "I used to be a fairy too!!"
Hades opened his hands and then clasped them together. "Prepare yourself..for my final strike..not even the Celestial Spirit King can endure this spell...GRIMOIRE LAW!!"
"No...the counterpart to Fairy Law!?" said Lucy. "That means he'll take out everyone he considers an enemy!!"
"Brace yourselves!" said the Celestial Spirit King as a tremendous blast of light engulfed the sky and the entire area. But then...
The light died down as a tremendous black set of raven wings smashed the energy into a sphere before the energy dissapated. Standing before Hades was a familiar white haired boy with red eyes and a black and white striped shirt. The boy smiled with a demonic expression on his face as he toggled the knob on the choker he wore around his neck.1
"Hades right?" said Accelerator. "Thought you'd be taller."1
"You..." said Hades. "Fairy Tail's strongest esper..but you were with Erza's group...how could you have resisted the Plague?! It does not follow the laws of vectors!"
"Everything follows vectors to some slight degree." said Acceleratro as he laughed with his usual psychotic flare. "You just gotta look hard enough. Besides..Erza actually sent me ahead..the Plague never reached me."
Accelerator turned to look at the rest of the group along with the Celestial Spirit King. "Heh..so that's the Celestial Spirit King.."
The king nodded at Accelerator. "You must hurry friends...I have already implemented the magic necessary to open the Gate of Entry...it will be 5 minutes before the gate itself opens...but I must now go..while I still can fight in the human world."
The King stared into the darkness that was creeping over the sky. "My time has come..I will hold back the darkness just long enough for you to cross the gate. If I don't slow it down..we will only have 3 minutes...however..my magic can buy you some time."
And with that, the King flew into the sky, growing brighter and brighter with even more magic power as he approached the creeping darkness.
Nicole Mavros growled and began to approach Hades, but Accelerator stood in front of her. "Don't push it..You have to get these guys through that gate when it opens..you can't afford to waste time fighting..even you're too injured right now."
The dragon was surrounded in a swirl of ethereal energy, instantly turning back into her human form. "And why should you be the one to fight? Why can't I be the one to hold him off?"
Accelerator looked at Mikoto's unconscious form lying in the sand. "Consider it my redemption."
Nicole's eyes widened. "So the 10,000 Sisters...it's all true."
"All you need to know.." said Accelerator. "Is that like it or not..I'm also a member of Fairy Tail..which means for my guild...I'd become an enemy to the world..."2
Natsu walked over to Nicole and put a hand on her shoulder. He nodded at her, a determined look on his face.
Nicole closed her eyes for a moment...and then.."Destroy him...please..just destroy him.."
Accelerator grinned. "That I can do.."
"You must be quite arrogant if you think you can destroy me boy!!" Hades yelled angrilly. "I shall show you the true power of death magic..the true power of the demons that I have gained...the TRUE POWER OF MAGIC!!"
"And I'm gonna show you what you look like with no head.." said Accelerator.4
"RRRRRRRAAAAAAGGGGGHHHH!!!!" Hades yelled out at the top of his lungs as the ground around him erupted. Hundreds upon thousands of dark formless demons exploded from the ground and sped at Accelerator, their raging fangs determined to come into contact with warm blood and flesh.
The moment the demons collided with Accelerator however, they were all blasted back as if there was an invisible bubble around him. The demons all flew into the sky and burned up in the atmosphere as Accelerator launched himself through the hoardes of demons, grinning from the thrill of the fight.
Accelerator sped his way through the demon hoard until he came right up to where Hades was. He reached his hand over to Hade's face.
"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!!" Hades yelled out as he blasted a massive blast of black energy into Accelerator.
Accelerator launched himself out of the way as more demons all rumbled their way over to him like an avalanche.
"Really?" spat Accelerator. "Using the same trick on me? You're all alike!"
Accelerator made several "ksh kssshh.." sounds with his teeth and suddenly a massive blast of wind exploded around him like a twister, causing all the demons to be swept away as a ginormous twister blasted into Accelerator's back and caused him to fly at Hades again.
Hades dodged Accelerator's outstretched hand again and let out another blast of dark energy. However, this time, instead of dodging, Accelerator laughed and his twisting raven black wings re-emerged as the blasts deflected off of him right back at Hades.
Hades yelled out in pain as he plowed into the dirt.
"Well well well." said Accelerator. "I was expecting more of a fight...your fight with the others weakened you.."
"One problem boy." said Hades. "It's weakened them too!!"
Hades thrust his hand to the side and pointed it at Natsu and Lucy who were both at Mikoto's side, trying to revive her.
A massive blast of black energy shot out at them..too fast for Accelerator to move to in time.
Then..
"KABOOOM!!!" Mikoto Misaka opened her eyes wide and got to the one knee of her remaining leg and activate her wings, shielding herself, Natsu and Lucy from the dark blast. In a burst of lighting, a mass of electricity sailed from her wings and connected itself to where her othe leg had been forming itself into a artificial limb made of pure lightning. Mikoto stood up awkwardly on her real leg and lightning leg her face looking determined. "Don't you dare...try to kill my friends..."
"You..." said Hades angrilly. "I am tired of all you damn ESPERS!!!!"
An explosion of demon blasted out all around the small island and began coming at Mikoto. But before the demons hit, Accelerator appeared in front of her in a blur of speed and spread his dark wings wide as his vector deflection deflected the demons and sent them soaring away fromt he island.
"Forget about me already!?" spat Accelerator. "Well sorry, but I don't take people ignoring me very well.."3
"Damn you two!!" Hades yelled. "I'll destroy you all!!!"
Hades clasped his hands together. "GRIMOIRE LAW!!"
The ginormous light once again blasted outwards only to be dissipated by Accelerator's wings.
"Like I said before.." said Accelerator. "Using the same tricks over again won't work on me!!!"
"You darn esper." said Hades. "I will destroy you with all the power I posses!!"
"Oh.." said Accelerator with a cackle. "But it's not me you need to worry about." Accelerator stepped aside as Mikoto stepped forward on her electric leg, her own wings spread wide. She then took a deep breath and inhaled. Suddenly, the golden glowing light that surrounded the Gate of Entrly began to sail off the gate and and straight into Mikoto's mouth, the pure ancient energy being eaten right before Hades's eyes.
"She's eating the ancient magic?" said Hades.
Mikoto's wings suddenly sollidified as they became individual feathered angelic wings. 4 more of those massive wings appeared until she had six massive angelic whitish bluish wings, with feathers that each radiated a a powerful electric charge.
Mikoto's Dragon Force ability Thundering Arch Angel spread outwards intimidatingly as she continued to walk forward, her eyes glowing a bluish white as lighting jumped off her body.
"Secret Art..ANGEL BLIGHT OF THE THUNDER DRAGON!!!" A massive barrage of lightning exploded out of Mikoto's wings and razed its way accross the sand till it exploded against Hades's body.
As the powerful blast blasted into Hades, Mikoto launched herself forward, propelling electricity from her feet to increase her speed. As her wings spread out wider, lightning arched out from the wings and lit up the sky like a storm. Mikoto smashed her lightning engulfed fist against Hade's face, then she punched Hades again, and again.
With every punch, her fists moved faster and faster, till they became a blur, lightning of unrivaled power exploded out from her body as she continued to land blow after blow.
Finally Mikoto raised her fist in a dramatic pause, letting all her esper electricity and magic power charge into her one fist. "Secret Art: EXPLODING DEATH CHARGE!!"
Those who hadn't yet been swallowed by darkness, had they seen the island of the Gate of Entry that day, would've said a bolt of lightning soared into the sky and blasted all the clouds in the sky apart, creating a great light bright enough to be a second moon.
Hades stood in front of Mikoto for a moment, his mouth open and his arms raised to the sky, his body smoking. Then he fell to his back...the demons that covered the island dissipated into nothing. "Once more...defeated by the flapping fairy..Markarov..your brood well.."
Mikoto fell to her knees as both her wings and electric leg dissapeared. She panted hard as Lucy kneeled next to her and hugged her.
Accelerator walked over to Hades and stared down at him..considering him.
"Both our worlds.." Hades said. "For years, chaos has riddled across them even before they became connected...blood, strife, war...no order, none of it....Black Whisper wished for control..however...I wished for something different."
"And what would that be?" said Accelerator.
"Order.." said Hades.."Order to all the chaos, finally..some sort of peace..Dravis may be a tyrant...but at least he would have instilled order and stopped humans from destroying each other."
"Yeah.." said Accelerator. "But at what cost? Look at all the humans that have been killed already for your so called order...and look at all the humans that will be opressed because that stupid Dravis...the key to peace isn't always control..."
"But at least it's some kind of peace.." said Hades as his body began to glow. "And I shall even sacrifice my own life to achieve it."
"What is he doing...? Natsu muttered as he picked up the unconscious Happy and Elli in his arms.
"That magic energy." murmured Nicole. "He's using Spirit Explosion!!!"
"Spirit Explosion?" Mikoto said.
"He's gathering a special kind of magic called Reishi..also known as Spirit Energy. By fusing it with his own magic..he'll destroy the entire area within a 120 mile radius!" said Nicole.
"How long before the plague makes it here?" Accelerator asked quickly.
"About 3 minutes.." said Nicole. "The Gate will open in one if I estimate correctly, Hades probably only has seconds.."
"Good bye faries.." said Hades.."with the Railgun gone...peace will be assured."
"Will the spell stop if the caster is thrust into a deep sleep?" Accelerator asked.
"Yes.." said Nicole.
Accelerator took Hades by the arm. "Come on ya crazy old man..we're going for a ride.."
"No!" Said Mikoto. "But then you'll get caught in the Plague like all the others!!"
"Then I will have finally paid some of my debt." said Accelerator with a meaningful grin at Mikoto.2
Mikoto's eyes widened. "You.."
"There are two girls who're staying with the Old Geezer back at a safe house at the edge of Fiore." said Accelerator. "Likely they were caught up in the Plague..they're two of your Sisters...do me a favor, and make sure Dravis pays for that stupid sleep they're all caught up in.."
"Accelerator.."
"Later kiddies." said Accelerator. "Tear Dravis apart for me..."
Accelerator made several "Ksh Kshh." noises and he and Hades were propelled towards the creeping darkness which was already halfway across the water.
Go Railgun..thought Accelerator as he and Hades approached the darkness. Lift the darkness that surrounds this world..
And with that...the two were swallowed by complete blackness...swallowed by the endless sleep.
"He truly earned that redemption." murmured Nicole.
"Idiot.." Mikoto said as a tear ran down her cheek. "I already forgave him ages ago.."
