"This place seems to be pretty far down; it makes me more excited for something intriguing to happen" said Odell as he landed on the ground level of the underground place he went
Walking down a path, he was intrigued by how bright it looked. It was like the sun was shining down there.
"This light source it feels artificial but mix with something familiar. Hmmm well it will solve itself soon enough" he said pretty much to himself
As he walked down the path for about twenty minutes, he came across a section that branched off in four directions. Each having a different feel for them.
"Hmm which to pick, which.. to.. pick. Hmm"
"Oh how about all no said you can only pick one"
Well, it's different with at least four to go through them but he was only one so how was he going to go through all of them. Unless he goes through them one by one but who knows how long it could take to do that.
"Alright let's do that, it's been a while since I done this"
Saying that, a shadowy figure began coming from behind him. It then became two, and then three and that's where it stopped. The three figures started to separate from Odell becoming more solid and molded to his liking. Once they were finished, there were now four of him that just smiled as they looked at one another.
"It's been a while since I cloned myself"
"Yeah, it really has"
"It's been a while me"
"Yes, me it has"
"So, let's get to it"
"It actually making my heart pound with anticipation"
"…. What heart"
"Shut up and just go already"
"We're not going to have a discussion on who will go where"
"Do we really need to do that; we all know which we want to go to"
"Hmm, that is true"
"Well then let's go mes"
The three other Odells disappeared into their paths of choice, leaving the right one for him.
"Looks like I get to go down the path with the least light but the most familiar feeling. Interesting indeed. How did they know that's where I wanted to go"
'Are you serious'
'He's not serious right'
'No of course not you idiots'
'So how are you two, never mind carry on'
"Did something happen during the cloning process hmm. Oh well doesn't matter let's just go exploring now"
Going through the path with less visibility that seem to not bother him at all. But it couldn't compare to his home in the Origin Realm with absolute darkness. The only light being the light they want to make if they wanted to.
Walking another ten minutes he came to a stop where two more paths were. One seemed normal while the other felt weird and eerie.
"Well, you know which way I'm go…"
He stopped talking because he began to hear something, multiple somethings coming his way from the normal path.
"What's this, I wanted to go down that path because it felt oddly normal for how the other path was but it seems I will know sooner than later why that is"
As he looked down the 'normal' path he saw a group of people with panicked and tiredness evident on their faces as they were running from something.
"What is that thing"
"How would we know, it's our first time seeing something like that just like you"
"I wasn't asking you or anyone in particular Kody"
"You said it for anyone to answer Michelle"
"Just shut up idiot"
"What do you think Kai, found anything with your skill to help us out of this"
"No not yet.. hmm wait there seems to be something up ahead"
"Is it a way out of here?"
"Yeah, but that's not all"
"Don't tell us it's another one in waiting"
"No from what I can tell it's human"
"Huh why would a human be down here"
"Is he perhaps a hunter that came to rescue us"
"I don't know but for now we can't be sure of anything, we'll have to be extremely cautious"
"I mean it's better than that thing that's coming from the rear"
"Let's just hope for the best"
As they got closer to where he was the thing that was behind them gradually got closer to them as well.
"Hmm that, why is that here, haaaa this has him all over it"
"They seem to be hunters but I never seen them before. They must be from another city"
"Seems like that unfortunately ran into that. Well since I'm here why not I help them and in exchange they can tell me how they got here and what's down there"
"We're almost there, hopefully this hunter is at least at the Middle of the Orb Formation Realm"
"Hopefully but I don't know if they'll send someone like that here to save us"
"Aye you never know let's just see what happens for now"
The thing that looked to be a huge wolf like monster with two tails, red eyes and black fur that weirdly enough was running on his hind legs which would terrify even an experienced hunter. The beast switched to running on all four to caught them faster and easier. As it was closing the distance in a matter of seconds the group of five which was almost to the exit had no choice but to try to do everything in order to slow it down and get out of there.
"That thing has caught up we might not have a choice but to fight"
"Looks like we may not have a choice, alright hunters, let's get ready"
"This might be our last stand together so let's do this"
"I hate to say it, but you might be right"
"I know"
"Then get ready everyone, get into formation"
"Yes"
The wolf like monster jumped towards them with the intent to kill them with a swing of his claw but as the monster swung his claw that the person who has the best defense to take majority of the attack something unexpected and unimaginable happened. It shocked both the monster and the five hunters.
Someone stepped in front of them and stopped the monster's claw strike with his finger. No one could have thought someone could stop a beast that's a Top Tier 2 Realm. But as they as can clearly see it's happening as clear as day.
"What is he really an Orb Formation hunter"
"It seems to be but isn't he a little too strong even if he's at the peak it wouldn't be easy to do"
"I don't know but I'm glad he's here, we can finally relax"
"Don't be too sure we have to wait and see we still don't know why he's here"
"That's true"
The beast who claws strike was stop by this seemly weak prey, it began to growl in anger as he was about to attack again.
"Oh, mind if I play with you kitty" Odell said with a smirk
"…."
