"Maybe I should had held back a lot more, I got a little too excited" said Odell as he looks at the now dead Wolf like beast with its four limbs and head scatter about in a slightly grotesque scene
The five who were just looking in shock as the scene before them, couldn't believe how one-sided it was. As they're hunters too they didn't mind the scene, just the way it went.
"Are we saved?"
"That I don't know"
"It appears to be that way"
"But to be sure, be on guard just in case"
"Ah come on he just saved us; I doubt he's here to kill us"
"And you know this how"
"Because I don't feel any malicious intent coming from him"
"Let's just see how things play out, after all it's a fact we would have been dead without his help"
As they walked towards Odell, who was grieving about his playtime with the kitty was over too soon. He soon noticed the five hunters that looked to have gone through countless battles while here. Stopping not far from him, one of the two women in the group came closer to him
"Hello mister hunter, we would like to thank you for saving us"
"Yes, we are truly grateful for you saving us"
"Yes, thank you"
"Ah sorry I'm Jade"
"Kai"
"Kody"
"Michelle"
"And I'm Paul the leader of this group"
After introducing themselves to him, Odell just looked at them for a while which kind of made Kody a little irritated, but he didn't dare to voice any dissatisfaction. The six stayed quiet for a little while until Odell talked

"Odell"
"Odell nice to meet you, and again thank you" said Jade
"No problem, I just wanted to play with the kitty, but it seems I was a bit too rough"

"How did you all get here, was it by some secret passage as well" asked Odell with an intrigued look
"Secret passage?"
"We got here through a gate" said Paul
"That's odd"
[Seems that wasn't the only gate that led to here]
"What's odd"
"Aren't you the reinforcement that was sent to rescue us?"
"Reinforcement?"
"Are you not?"
"Sorry but no I didn't even know you all were down here"
"You said down here, what do you mean by that isn't this a dungeon?"
"Yes, you're in a dungeon, it's just that this isn't the whole dungeon, it's only underground"
"What only a part?"
"We didn't hear about this from the scout teams"
"Maybe they didn't even know"
"Maybe"
"But how did you know all this"
"Did you not go through the gate from Markoplics?"
"I see, it's an interconnected dungeon"
"A what?"
"What does that mean?"
"Well to answer your questions, no I didn't go through that gate because I'm from Autumn Port City. And it seems like the gates have started to connect with each other, leading to a single dungeon. Which probably means"
"Means?"
"It's not the same level anymore and clearing it might be a little more difficult"
[I would be if we weren't here that is]
Kody went to Paul and whispered into his ear
"Are you sure we can trust him, he's way too mysterious and being by himself doesn't help his case"
"I know but Kat seems to not mind, and you know she's a beastkin so they're more akin to who can be trusted"
"I guess so but if he tries anything"
"Then what… Let's just hope he doesn't"
"Whatever you say Paul"
Leaving it like that they talked for a while longer
"Maybe this isn't the best time to talk for now"
"You're right but how do we get out of here; we've been here for a few days now and haven't found any way to get out of here"
"How did you all encounter the kitty over there?"
"Well, we were just resting when suddenly the ground shook and opened up a path behind a huge boulder and we were about to check it out but before we could get any closer, Kat became agitated and warned us to leave"
"And so, since she's a beastkin we understood and quickly prepared to leave"
"Just as we left, we heard a wolf howl, but it didn't sound like any ordinary wolf, taking we're in a dungeon, so we picked up the pace a little but not too much as we're still quite exhausted from a previous battle"
"But even that seem to not last long as in a few minutes we heard the sound of heavy steps and growling getting closer to us which caused us to be on guard as we tried looking for an exit out of here but to no avail"
"We then found out what it was and that it was way out of our league which we tried everything in order to slow it down and give us a chance to get out of here"
"But that seemed to agitate it even more, and we had no choice but to try to fight even if it'll be pointless"
"And by some luck you appeared, and you know the rest"
"Yeah hmm, you said a passage opened up after the ground shook"
"Yeah?"
"I know what you're thinking but I don't think that's a great idea"
"That's the only option unless you have a better one"

"But we are out of potions and our clothes and weapons aren't in the best shape now so going in there would be suicidal"
"Don't worry I got you all cover" said Odell
He reached into his interdimensional storage space and brought out clothes, potions, and weapons that were the same as they once used but in a better and higher quality all around
"Wait these are at the Sky rank and they're all at least the fifth level respectively"
"Yeah, but how can someone just bring those out so carelessly and without a thought"
"I don't know but we can't accept these"
"Don't worry bout it, there's plenty more where that came from and besides they're no big deal"

"No big deal"
"Who are you"
"Hmm I just told you who I am"
"No, I mean"
"Well does it matter, now we can go explo, I mean found an exit out of here right"

"Yeah weird"

[That feeling has gotten a lot stronger now, it's good that I can have some fun here]
