I looked back at Henry and saw him jazzing with Aura. "What's the problem?" Aaron asked. "It's nothing. So, what's up?" I said. "Nothin' much just thought of coming this side." He said. Honestly, I thought Aaron was dumb but I guess I was wrong because of what he asked me later on. "Your brother doesn't like me much, does he?" He asked. "Umm.." I said thinking of what to tell him. "He doesn't." Aaron said more sure of it than before. "Yeah, I kind of told him about what people say about you." I said. "You told him that I drug." He said and I nodded my head in agreement. He just looked at the ground and said, "Never mind." He sounded a bit of sad. "Hey, Aaron am sorry. I didn't mean too. It was just that I needed to talk to someone about what school was and what you left me to think of. I didn't really think he would hate you that much, am really sorry." I said trying to make him feel better. "It's alright. Do you wanna see something?" He asked with a smile on his face. I looked at him trying to guess what he was going to show me but I failed to guess. So, I just nodded my head and smiled. He offered me his hand and I took it. We started walking across the compound. I first noticed Aura looking at us then Henry turned and just shook his head. We moved past by my dad and I waved to him and he just smiled he also saw us but when we past by the tent where our school was, all eyes were on us. I kind of felt uncomfortable that I pulled my hand from his. He looked at me then at the guys from school and just smiled. We reached an old building and I just stood still. He gestured me to enter first and I shook my head. "I'll get in after you." I said. "Why?" He asked. "I don't know the building. You know it so I think you should enter first." I said. He smiled and asked, "Isn't it because you are afraid of the dark?" I gave an innocent smile and nodded my head. "What if I blind fold you?" He asked. I didn't know what to say because there is no big difference between me being in darkness and being blind folded. I think he noticed and said, "I'll hold your hand and guide you." Honestly, I am afraid of the dark but I just nodded my head. He had some sort of a bandana cloth that he used to blind fold me. He held my hand and we started walking. We reached somewhere and he untied the cloth really gently but I could still feel the darkness. So, I didn't open my eyes. All of a sudden, I could no longer hear any foot steps or breathing from Aaron. I opened my eyes and screamed because I was in the middle of nowhere and Aaron had left me. "Aaron, Aaron, AARON." I said but the last one was more of a scream. Then I started hearing music playing it was a gospel song, one of my favorite ones actually. It was Oceans by Hillsong. I couldn't see anything but I was trying to find my way out. I saw some light which I decided to follow. When I reached the place the first thing... sorry first person I saw was Aaron, who was standing at the front. There was a big poster saying 'YOU SHALL GET THROUGH IT' and below it was another one saying 'we are with you.' I saw some other people from school who were there; Hannah, Sara, Luke, and the other girl who was discussing with Sara and Brandon the first time I joined the school. A smile covered my face thinking of the number of people that care about me and didn't need to come with the school. I know the people weren't many, but it meant a lot to me. Honestly, I wasn't expecting anything from them. I hadn't yet even spoken to Luke and the girl who I still didn't know the name. I moved to the front and stood where Aaron was.
"Surprise." He said with a smile on his face.
"I just don't know what to say." I said. He held my hands and said, "You should just relax and have fun." I smiled and went to where my friends were. "Hey, guys thanks for coming this means a lot to me." I said with a big smile plastered on my face. "It was nothing. We didn't have any other choice. Aaron told us to come." Hannah said. I turned and looked at Aaron who was talking to the DJ and I smiled. "Am thirsty. Can I get you a drink?" Sara said. I shook my head. "Nah, am not thirsty." I said and followed her to the pub. She bought a bottle of mineral water. A familiar song that I loved so much started playing. I turned and saw Aaron who was standing by the DJ and had a smirk on his face. He walked towards me. "Do you like the song?" He asked. I smiled and said, "How did you know?" I asked him. "How did I know what?" He asked. Sara went away shaking her head. "How did you know I liked that song?" I asked him. "So, you like it?" He asked. "Yes, I like it." I said. He smiled and said, "It's in your instagram bio." He said. Oh, now I get it. He stalks me on my instagram because I know he doesn't follow me. I started singing along. "You are the voice that calms the storm inside me. Castle walls that stand around me. All this time my guardian was you. You..." I paused and looked at Aaron who started singing, "You are the light.." I looked at him with a really shocked face. Like seriously, he doesn't look like a person who can sing. When he finished I said, "You have a good voice." He laughed like as if I were joking. "No, I am serious. Why don't you join the school's singing group?" I asked him. "One, I don't have a good voice. Two, I am not a school group type of person. But your voice is good." He said. "Yeah, I know. My mom kept telling me." I said which reminded me of mom. Tears started flowing from my eyes. "Hey, don't cry. I am sorry, I didn't mean to say anything that reminds you of your mom." He said. "It's alright." I said while drying my eyes. "Hey, could you tell the DJ to play that song one more time?" I asked. "Yeah, sure. Just sit here." He said while gesturing me to sit. As he was going, I wondered why people called him an alcoholic. He's eyes would have been red but they aren't. Maybe people just hate him for no big reason and I don't think Henry is going to talk to me ever again. I think he would understand or maybe not. "So, what were you guys talking about?" Hannah asked, making me smile. She is way much more fan than the Hannah from my previous school.
