"What are you trying to do exactly?" Valek asked.
"Getting us out. What else does it seem?" I answered while yawning.
I pushed him aside and I slowly turned the knob of my door. I had to open it without making any slightest of sounds. My parents were dead asleep at that time, so it was not going to be much trouble.
I opened the door with the slowest speed I could. The door made creaking noises while opening. The noise was loud enough to be echoed in the whole house.
"You are definitely going to get us killed Lily," Valek whispered to me.
"Just shut it for a sec."
I tip-toed towards my parents room and held my ear close to their door, to listen if there are any voices coming from inside.
"Just as I thought they are dead asleep," I whispered to Valek.
"Yeah, now what?"
"Take off your shoes now."
"What? What did you say?"
"I said take off your shoes Valek."
"But why?"
