"Exactly what am I doing! I didn't even read what's in this document. Does this what selling soul to devil looks like? Really how could grandpa do this? And that Mr. Cinri thinks he is saviour an angel of god! He is a devil, he saved one life and took back another in return. Both he and his son should burn in hell." Nui's fingers seem to burn while signing the documents. She wanted to cry but she felt so empty from inside, it seemed that even her tears have dried up.
Untill a few hours back her life was so different, she was the treasured granddaughter of Mrs.Tan, and in no time her life became upended.
Nui still was unable to believe this, and she was trembling from inside, it seemed that an invisible storm was blowing inside her, uprooting her soul from the roots.
"So, Miss Saue, I hope you have understood everything. I would like to wish you all the luck for your future. The rest of the procedures will be done within this week. I shall visit you personally when everything is ready for you to move to the Cinri's."
"mmm..." Nui responded absent minded. "Lawyer Wun are you leaving already?" There was a dazed look in her eyes, Lawyer Wun was extremely professional but even he felt pity on Nui at this moment. She was just 18! today was her birthday, and with just some legal documents and a signature her life changed. Really, he often wondered about the obnoxious whims and fancies of the wealthy people. After all his own daughter was elder to her. How would she be able to deal with such a complicated situation in hand.
Nui wasn't able to think much, so she blurted, "Lawyer Wun, how much do you charge to provide legal counsel? Actually... I... I.... didn't understand anything about this matter, I am so clueless right now, would it be too much to ask if I look for your legal counsel regarding this matter in future?"
Lawyer Wun tried to give her a comforting smile, "Miss Saue, I am a professional, I am supposed to provide legal advice to whoever becomes my client, that's my job. But... as far as this matter is concerned I am already hired by the Senior Cinri, so I am afraid I can't become your lawyer. I am sorry."
Lawyer Wun stood up, and he was about to leave, but something inside him compelled him to turn, "But, you can keep my card, Mrs.Tan had always been kind to me, and since you will soon become a part of the Cinri family, there wouldn't be much problem in helping you in this matter. I will be there to guide you on legal matters till things become a bit stable for you."
Nui took the card, "Thank you Lawyer Wun. I have one last question."
"Yes Miss Saue, please feel free to ask" he replied with a polite smile.
"How old is this Third Master Cinri? Am I...am I... going to become the bride of an old man?" Nui had this question in her mind ever since she heard that this man was the son of her grandfather's friend.
Lawyer Wun couldn't help but laugh, "You haven't read the documents properly yet, I have left a copy, so I would suggest that you go through it when you have time. I have a friendly advice to Miss Saue,"
"Yes, Lawyer Wun?" Nui looked up with enquiring eyes.
"From now on please read before putting your signature anywhere."
He turned to leave, but said in a soft voice, "no matter what his age is, do you have a choice now?"
Nui was embarassed now, she smiled as a matter of explanation. "What does this mean? Who is this man she is getting married to? Is he really an old man?"
