Good news. The orichalchum plating absorbed most of the lightning, leaving him with nothing more than the equivalent of static shock. Granted, that was over his whole body, but it was still just static.
Bad news, the runes on the plating were all burnt out, leaving him with minimal magic resistance due to the plating being half a millimeter thick. Furthermore, his solar dampeners, which were designed to activate in the event he lost his temper or was mind controlled, were all shot to Cythonna, meaning he now had to be careful to pull his punches.
Better news, his unleashed senses and reduced rage would make it so he wouldn't be caught off guard like that again.
Picking himself out the ice, he looked up at "Earth's Mightiest Mortal."
"Figures that gods wouldn't have the honor they make their soldiers exhibit."
"I'm not a god, buddy. I just use their power. And I don't do 'honor' when one of my friends are getting killed."
As if to demonstrate this, Marvel shot a lightning bolt he had been building up.
"SIGEA NEWDIRP!"
A dome of light appeared, diverting the lightning at the same time he caught blade and fist from the Amazon again.
Fine, they want to play dirty? Let's play dirty.
"CINOSMI, AKIP AKIP!"
A wave of electricity burst out from him, throwing both of them back.
The circles on his armor's palms glowed, the suit dipping into his cells' solar energy, before blasting at the two heroes, sending them miles back.
Wisdom of the gods was only as good as the ones using it. The gods had no idea what he could do, so neither did they. And these kind of heroes never went all out from the start.
Going over to where Kal-El should have landed, he saw that he was gone.
"He should have still been knocked out from that much damage. Either he's faced worse hits before, or-"
Suddenly, his senses detected something approaching.
Very fast.
"ETARELECED!"
/POV shift/
Flash had gotten Superman all the way to Gotham City in the Batcave before he turned around. Luckily, Alfred was cleaning the computer screen when he put Supes in the chair. If anyone knew where Batman put those solar lamps, it'd be his butler.
He was rushing towards the bastard, when he felt something forcefully slow him down.
Which surprised him, of course. But not as much as the jerk slamming him into the icy ground faster than he could react.
On his best days, Barry Allen could perceive things on the nanosecond range, or even smaller. But he had to actively divert the Speed Force to get his brain and eyes to work that fast. So it was still possible to catch him by surprise, especially since he didn't have enhanced hearing. A lucky sniper could take him out from behind, since the bullet would be faster than the sound of the gunshot. A single shot through the brain would be enough to take him out.
The problem was, he HAD made his brain work that fast. Anyone with the strength to beat the shit out of Superman wasn't to be taken lightly. And yet, the bastard not only saw him coming, but apparently had to ability to slow him down.
Fuck.
"SAVITARG ECIRHT!"
And now his body was heavier. This was going to be a pain.
Wait, was that faceplate glowing befo-
