Chapter 7 - Fight Part 5: Infinite Mass

Flash looked at everyone frozen around him. When the golden Kryptonian had shouted shortly after he woke up, he had immediately pulled on the Speed Force. The sheer amount of energy he was pulling into his body had rarely been harnessed, because of the strain. Using the Speed Force was like muscle training. A consistent use would make him better at it, able to use more over time. Too much would cause lasting damage. Both to his body and to his connection to the Speed Force.

And yet despite that, despite the pain he felt from too much energy coursing through his body, he could still see the golden bastard moving towards Superman.

Picking a direction, he started running. Fast, faster, then even faster. His muscles were screaming, even as the Speed Force tried to heal the damage he was doing to himself, he kept running. Pulling his fist back, he started vibrating his entire arm. Every molecule, increasing in density to surpass that of a neutron star.

As he came back around, he saw the golden bastard mere centimeters from punching Clark in the face.

As he struck the golden bastard across the face, he remembered the silly name Wally had given this move.

Infinite Mass Punch. Right to the face.

He saw the bastard fly away from the force. Even as every bone in his arm shattered, his enhanced brain did calculation.

20 Meters. 40 Meters. 60 Meters. 72 meters, and he stopped.

The bastard held out his hands and just stopped. Even as a cone of destruction went back for a few miles behind him.

In his fading vision, he saw the bastard look back at him in disbelief. All he could see on the bastard was a split lip.

/POV Shift/

What... THE ACTUAL FUCKING RAO?!

'The Speedster cracked my entire jaw AND HE JUST PASSES OUT?'

Even though it was rapidly healing, the fact that this man had actually hurt him in any capacity was equal parts fascinating and terrifying.

And yet, judging by the shredded muscles and shattered arm bones, it seemed as though it had taken everything he had.

He looked at Kal-El and the other guardians, who had unfrozen from the heat of the strike, he saw them all tensing, as if ready to continue the fight.

No. That's enough of that.

"SIXARATA!"

Everyone, including Vahl-Or, felt an unnatural sense of calm come upon them. The urge to fight simply left. Vahl-Or, felt his nose bleed profusely, but hoped it wouldn't be as noticeable alongside the split lip. Enforcing upon the will of so many was straining him, especially after foolishly shattering Lantern constructs with magic.

"Enough, this fight is just... pointless. It just started from me lashing out in anger over a harmless comment."

Vahl-Or floated over to look Kal-El in the eye.

"I'm leaving, and I'm taking Kandor with me. Don't try to stop me again."

With that, Vahl-Or flew off at hypersonic speed, letting the spell fizzle out a few seconds later.

A Very Long AN:

To the one commenter who deleted their comment, no, Vahl-Or isn't "weak."

Literally no one had actually managed to hurt him in any way. The only ones with any compacity to do so were Wonder Woman and Shazam, both of whom he could speedblitz and hadn't actually gotten past his armor. Even Flash pulling out the biggest I.M. Punch didn't even knock him out. Everyone except Vahl-Or is sporting long-lasting bruises.

As for him not killing them, he may not be a hero, but he won't needlessly kill someone. Give him someone like Lobo? He'll send him straight to the center of a blue sun. Not to mention, even in his angered state, he is still self-aware enough to know this entire fight is only happening because he's lashing out. He ain't gonna kill someone just because he's having a temper tantrum.

Him getting trapped? He is very much emotionally and mentally exhausted. He spent a week (MUCH LONGER FOR HIM THAN IT IS TO US) stewing in anger and unleashed all of it in less than half an hour. It fucked with his ability to focus and react, which is very much something that happens in real life (personal experience). He may not PHYSICALLY need to sleep, but for the sake of his mental and emotional health, he is going to be taking a long nap when he goes home.

As for the tech? Other than the hand blast, none of it is needed. The orichalcum is abundant where he lives, the visor only reconfigures itself to not get destroyed when he uses Heat Vision, and the solar dampeners are designed only to activate when he loses himself in his anger (a rare event) or is being mind-controlled (EVEN WITH THEM STILL WORKING, NOTHING WOULD HAVE CHANGED). It is very much a bare bones set. The only thing you could argue was actually useful was the Telekill plate that blocked telepaths. Which he has a lot of.

So if you want a psychotic, detached God-Kryptonian who kills the entire Justice League in an act of pettiness, WRITE IT YOURSELF.
