Chapter 1 - 1 : Mission

Exactly why Kira was at the Heavens Arena, currently watching a fight between Gido and Gon; were part of her main mission that was tasked to her, that is all.

Occasionally, she would eye her target, which was amongst the spectators that are watching this fight. The said target, wasn't that difficult to keep an eye on since he too, joined Heavens Arena. But today, wasn't his fight but his friend.

Friend?

Kira saw how agitated her target was when one of the fighters, Gido, started using 'Spinning Top Tornado', a technique where he spins his body to defend himself from the upcoming attack.

Gon, the other fighter was far too late to change the course of his earlier attack. As the result, he was flung out of the stage.

"It's a terrible hit for Gon!! The arbiter announces critical hit and down!!"

The count is now 9 points for Gido. And the arena erupts with a roar of cheers from the spectators. One boy, however, told the fighter, Gon to stop attacking his opponent and stay low.

Unmistakably, Kira's target has friends here.

A wave of amusement washed over her at the thought of that as she gets up from her seat and moves towards the exit.

A certain magician man caught Kira's eyes when she reaches the exit. Upon inspection, the said man seems to have taken an interest in the fight that was taking place behind her.

Not just him, the whole crowd too were taken aback by the fight occurring before their eyes.

"Extraordinary!! It's the first time in the match that Gon has managed to avoid the attack!!"

Kira turned around to spectate the fight. To her surprise, the fighter, Gon has released his Ten and currently in a state of Zetsu, avoiding every spinning tops that were thrown in his way flawlessly.

Did he.. released his Ten just to focus up on sensing his attacks?

Kira's sweat drops anxiously. But the magician man, who goes by the name of Hisoka, were intrigued by what's happening on the stage.

The fight between Gon and Gido ended as quickly as the next day arrived. Kira was sipping on her coffee at a nearby cafe as she has her eye on her target from across where she was sitting.

The boy seems to be hanging around and buying chocorobo.

Ah, so it seems that he has a sweet tooth.

Or, maybe be bought some to cheer up his friend that has lost the match yesterday.

The move that Gon pulled out yesterday, was undoubtedly risky and blatantly stupid. And from her assessment, the boy still hasn't master completely The 4 Exercises of Nen giving that Gon couldn't perform Ten and Zetsu at the same time.

For a moment, Kira almost drifted back to the memory of her learning Nen for the first time...

However, Kira can't stop admiring Gon's courageous act at the same time. She's rather, amused. Just like what Hisoka felt yesterday. Gon must have a strong desire to be stronger and stronger. She wondered what his dreams were.

It seems like Killua has made an interesting friend...

She sips on her coffee again.

With Gon not completely mastered his Nen despite successfully advancing himself above 200th floors, does that mean he got a master here? And wouldn't it be fair that Killua too would be undergoing the same training as Gon since they were friends?

Kira came to an assumption as she eyed Killua's small figure walking back in the direction of Heavens Arena. She couldn't be bothered to trace him around or else she'll get caught on being suspicious.

Although she was assigned to keep an eye on Killua Zoldyck, she still needs to be wary of her moves as he is indeed, an assassin. His senses would be more sensitive than the rest of us in detecting any possible dangers.

So, Kira made up her mind that she would allow her target to be out of her sight at this moment.

She glanced at her wristwatch and silently cursed to herself.

"It's 5 minutes past 10 already? I'm late to hand in my daily report."

Kira dialed up a number and waited for a few seconds before the receiver's voice could be heard.

"What is it?" The man at the end of the line spoke.

"The daily report, sir," said Kira

"Go on."
