Rion took a seat at the table that was closest to his grandmother when he was comfortable he looked at the plentiful food that was lay on the table before him not sure were to start.
Even in his past life never had Rion been fortunate enough to have the chance to eat such an array of food each one enticing him with it's own intoxicating aroma.
When his grandmother saw the look on her grandson's face she decided to give him some help "If you're not sure were to start then I suggest you start with something familiar like Bollyberry bread or maybe some Jujumi" Anaelia said to Rion as she motioned in the direction of the food she had suggested.
Bollyberry bread was bread with a type of fruit that was called a Bollyberry baked into them Bollyberries were known for their fragrant and sweet taste and looked like small apple's and because of their size and taste it made them ideal for baking.
Jujumi despite it's name which made it sound like some kind of fruit was actually a type of meat that looked very similar to ham but even when it was cooked it's pink colour remained the same no matter the method used to cook it.
Due to it's unique colouring when Rion first encountered it made it him hesitant to eat it but when he tried it he found that despite it's appearance Jujumi was rather delicious.
Rion decided to listen to his grandmother's suggestion and do as she said as he placed a slice of Bollyberry bread on his plate followed by two slices of Jujumi which was then topped by another slice of Bollyberry bread.
Once he had finished making his Bollyberry and Jujumi sandwich he brought it to his mouth but just as he was about to take a bite two voices resounded in his head.
'That looks soooo good'
'Meat meat meat'
The two voices were coming from his two Summoned Beast's Cryon and Night knowing that they wouldn't stop Rion was about to summon them but then remembered where they were and decided to ask if it was okay to summon them.
Rion put his sandwich down and glanced nervously at his grandmother his action's not escaping her eye's "Is everything okay my dear child?" his grandmother asked wondering if Rion had changed his mind about staying here in the capital.
Even though she didn't show it Rion's grandmother was just as nervous as he was as this was their first meeting "No.. I.. I mean yes everything's fine... it's just that.." Rion stopped what he was about to say as he was interrupted by Cryon and Night's constant voices in his head.
'Master let me out I want some meat' Night shouted excitedly in Rion's mind.
'Night will you behave you're giving me a headache' Cryon said reprimanding Night's actions.
'But Cryooon I'm hungry' Night whined.
'I don't care Master will let us out if and when he chooses to so just be quiet' Cryon said to Night with an annoyed tone to his voice.
'Why is he such a killjoy' Night muttered quietly to himself however Cryon heard what Night muttered.
'At least I'm not a walking pit that will eat anything that I can get my paws on' Cryon snapped back at Night.
The pair looked at each other for a few seconds before they ended up arguing causing Rion to clasp the bridge of his nose in an attempt to ease the headache that the pair were giving him.
Anaelia worries only heightened when she saw Rion's pained face she quickly spoke "Rion I'm sorry if you've changed your mind about staying in the capital then we can arrange for a carriage to take you home immidiatley we just want you to be happy" Anaelia said with a smile on her face while trying to hide her disappointment.
Rion realised that his grandmother had misunderstood his action's and quickly cleared up her misunderstanding "No that's not it grandmother it's just that my Summoned Beast's wouldn't be quiet and I was just wondering on how to ask you if it was okay for me to summon them" Rion quickly explained to his grandmother.
Anaelia's face visibly relaxed when she heard his explanation "Yes you may summon them I must admit I was rather curious about them myself" Anaelia remarked as she gave Rion her permission to summon Cryon and Night.
Once he had gotten permission Rion summoned Cryon and Night.
Two circle's appeared behind Rion one that was White and Cyan in colour that gave off a chilling air that caused frost to appear near it while the other was Black and Violet that gave off a eerie feeling that darkened the area around it.
From the White and Cyan circle Cryon appeared from a flurry of snow before it combined into his natural form while from the Black and Violet circle Night appeared from a black mist that slowly solidified into his natural form.
When the two young wolves Cryon and Night appeared from the two circles Cryon sat before Rion his eye's trained on him while Night who was also sat in front of him looked to be staring at him was actually staring at the food on the table behind him.
Rion shook his head when he noticed Night was focused on the food behind him 'Night don't even think about it' Rion warned knowing what he was thinking through the link they shared causing the Black and Violet wolf to look at him.
The reason that Rion gave Night a reminder to stay put was due to the first time that he summoned him around food he leapt at the food that was before him and started to devour it which ended up with him being punished by his mother.
Night gave one more glance toward the food on the table before he refocused back on Rion as his grandmother came over to the three of them.
When Anaelia arrived beside him she gave him a look that was filled with pride before her attention turned to look at the two young wolves that were sitting at either side of him.
When his grandmother arrived at his side and didn't utter a word Rion thought that his grandmother was waiting for him to tell her his summons names "The white one with cyan eye's is called Cryon while the black one with violet eye's is called Night" Rion said telling his grandmother the name's of his two Summoned Beast's as she continued to look them over.
When Anaelia didn't reply to him and continued to inspect Cryon and Night he started to worry that she didn't approve of his Summoned Beast's but all his worries disappeared when he heard what his grandmother said.
"Soooo cute" Anaelia said before she scooped both Cryon and Night up into her arm's as she returned to her seat leaving Rion flabbergasted at what he had just seen.
Rion looked on as his grandmother began to coo over his Summoned Beast's "One for you my little Cryon and one for you Nighty and be careful not to choke" Anaelia said as she fed the two happy wolves.
Seeing the sight that was before him Rion's gaze moved to look around the room at the servant's that were stood around the room only to see find that they were not reacting to his grandmother's behaviour.
It was only when he remembered how his mother and sister reacted when they first met Cryon and Night 'Mother and Valenia reacted in a similar way when they first saw Cryon and Night I guess this is what you'd call a family trait' Rion thought to himself as she returned to his seat and began to eat.
