A few days later, two days before Aaron's birthday...
Aaron is getting ready at his apartment, he has an appointment for dinner with his family, Rara forces him to come. Aaron guessed that they would want to talk about his engagement even though he had refused several times but they didn't seem to care. He was too lazy to join this dinner but Cynthia's family would also be there and luckily Riven also came. Well, at least later it won't be too boring.
"Ready?" Riven appeared in front of his room.
"Yeah," said Aaron.
"You look so boring. I think this is the right time for you to say no," suggested Riven who knew best what Aaron was thinking.
Aaron chuckled.
"Good idea," he said. They continued to talk as they walked.
"I met Karyn a few days ago," Riven said suddenly.
"Where?" said Aaron.
"At the mall," Riven said.
"An appointment at the mall?" asked Aaron even though he knew Riven couldn't possibly do that.
