In the northern part of the world there's a village called Hjans with 1750 inhabitants. There's war going on right now in the northern part. But not everywhere is war. Only the places with big shots in big cities.
By the entrace you can see where Mari and Jon come from on the way to their house. It's obvious which house it is because they're well known for being the owners of the small house of Hjans.
Other houses are bigger then the small house they own. Well, Mari and Jon don't mind that and are happy with it so they continue to live in that small house.
''We finally have more food now that we gathered enough money, right Jon?'' said Mari to Jon who was just looking straight ahead of him.
''Yes, that's true. We could've starved for maybe a few weeks so I'm happy that we have some food right now.'' said Jon while having a smile on his face.
They aren't the richest out there but always managed. Since it's winter and it snowed alot, they couldn't get their money so it got delayed till they could move to the place where they would receive their money.
''We're quite lucky that it didn't last weeks or months. Otherwise we would've been goners, haha'' said Jon.
''That's true but that didn't happen so we shouldn't keep on speaking about it because it just ruins the mood.'' said Mari.
''I'm sorry, I'll stop talking about it. It indeed, ruins it.'' he said.
On their way they saw some of their neighbours and waved at them while smiling.
When they got home they took off their shoes and their coat while going inside.
''I'll go warm myself up, I'm freezing.'' said Mari while she was going to the bathtub.
''I guess I'll go prepare some food while she's busy having a warm bath.'' said Jon while going to the kitchen to make some food for them.
''Haaaaa, this warm feeling is really great. I would love to sit in here for hours..'' said Mari while looking at the ceiling with a big smile.
After 30 minutes she got out and put some warm clothes on.
She was underway to the kitchen when she saw Jon making soup and beside the soup she saw potatoes, vegetables and meat. She loved meat, so she got excited.
''Woow, I really can't wait to eat this. As always you're a great cook!'' said Mari while admiring the food Jon is making.
''Well, my mother used to tell me that I at least need to know how to cook or else how am I supposed to eat good and healthy food.'' he said while cutting the potatoes.
''I'm really jealous of you, every woman is at least supposed to be a good cook but I totally suck at it!'' she said with a dissapointend face.
''Calm down, dear. It's only cooking, if you can't do it I'll do it. Aren't we supposed to have each others back?'' he said with a smile on his face.
''Hmmmmm, well if you say it like that then I really can't complain.'' she said after sitting on a couch.
''It's almost ready so help me at least set the table, please''
''Okay, wait a minute.''
She immediately started preparing the table.

Meanwhile in a big city in the north, where creatures other then humans live..
''Has she given birth yet?'' said the man with a stern face.
He is a tall man with long silver hair with pitch black eyes. His outfit is almost entirely black with red on the side.
''Not yet, sir. They said a few hours before she can give birth.'' said the woman in a maid outfit.
''Hmmm, okay. Notify me immediately when she's close to giving birth. I'll be right back.'' he said while flying out the window.
''Understood.'' said the maid with no change in her face while walking away.

''Alright, here it is. Let's first eat some warm soup. It's tomato soup by the way.'' said Jon while placing it on the table.
''It smells good. Let's try.'' said Mari while taking a spoonful soup in her mouth.
''Hm, good soup.''
''Haha, I'm glad it's to your liking.''
'I finally can make some good tomato soup, I'm so happy right now!'
''Indeed, it's really good.'' he said.
''Alright, let's eat our main dish for today. Here you go, dear.''
''Thank you. It already looks good but let's taste it.''
''Hmm, this is so much better. Meat is the best! Hahaha.'' she said with a blissful look on her face.
''I'm happy to hear that.''
After eating enough food, Mari started doing the dishes while Jon started to clean up the table.
While Mari finished the dishes Jon went on the couch and started watching some television.
''What are you watching, honey?'' said Mari while making place on the couch.
''Well I'm looking at the news and they say it's going to snow more this month.'' he said while reading.
''You serious? More snow? How are we gonna get food now?''
''Yeah, apparently this year it would snow quite a lot. We should get prepared and ask them if we could get our money earlier the week or we gotta move out..''
''Hm, I really don't want to move out this house. It's small but it gives a welcome atmosphere.''
''True but food is more important then a small and good home. Let's go see for a new house tomorrow.'' he asked her.
''Okay, let's do that.'' she said while getting up.

The maid notified the man with silver hair through her magic that's connected with his.
''Sir, Ms. Noor is close to giving birth.''
''Okay, I'm coming right now.'' he said while leaving immediately.
A few minutes later he went through the same window and went straight to a room with a doctor and his wife who was lying on the bed.
''How is she? Is she gonna give birth right now?'' he rapidly said to the doctor.
''Yes, sir. She's gonna give birth in a few minutes according to our test.'' the doctor said.
The wife looked terrible, she was sweating and didn't feel good. She's hurting but is trying to not lose conscious.
''Hold it in, my wife. Soon our child will be given birth.'' the man said to his wife.
''Yes, I've been waiting for this day to happen to finally meet my baby boy.'' she said with a stiff smile
After 10 minutes, it begun.
''AAAAAAH'' she screamed. It was quite loud, but luckily they set a magic barrier up to prevent noise.
''Hang in there, my wife. I'll stay by your side and watch our baby getting born.'' the man said with a worried face.
Someone is knocking on the door, the man opens it. When the maid saw him she bowed and said in a worried tone:
''There are intruders in our city, sir.''
''Intruders? Who?'' he said with a cold voice.
''Yes, they are 'that' group that always come after us.''
The man was deep in thought before speaking.
''Kill all of them except some who will need to bring us information as to why they attacked. Do you understand?''
''Understood, sir. Then may I use everyone who is available to attack them?'' she asked.
''Sure. But if they do get inside notify the guards in the city and let some of the attackers in the city to defend. Do you understand?'' he said with a cold look.
''Yes, I understand. Then I'll immediately begin.''
The man nodded.
She bowed before going.
'This is troublesome. After a period of time, they'll eventually get in. If the small fry can't get in they'll send stronger units... Tch, why now of all times?'
The man calmed down and got back inside.
At that moment she gave birth.
''Waaaah waaaah'' the boy screamed.
''The baby is out, congratulations Ms. Noor.'' said the doctor.
''Oh, finally. I'm so happy to see you my baby..'' she said with teary eyes.
''Are there any problems regarding the baby? If so, I want you to immediately fix it.'' he said.
''Haha, sir he's a healthy boy. We just checked on him.'' the doctor said with a stiff smile.
Actually, the doctor was scared of the man in front of her. He gives chills down her spine everytime they make eye contact. But she remained 'okay' while explaining.
''Okay, good. You may leave.''
''Yes, sir.'' she said with a slight bow.
The man went to his wife and to his newborn baby.
The man always 'looked' scary but the baby didn't cry. He was rather happy, trying to get his attention with his tiny fingers.
The man was confused as this was his first child with 0 experience as a father. But he eventually grabbed his tiny hands.
'I swear that I will learn everything about being a good father'
''Look, honey. He's really happy to see you. How cute is that.'' Ms. Noor said while holding her baby.
''Yes, indeed. He's quite the happy boy right now. I'm surprised he isn't scared of me though'' he said.
''Haha, well of course he's your son.'' and she added: ''I overheard everything what you talked about with Lycia, the enemies invaded our city? Why is that?'' she asked with a serious face.
''As always, those ears of yours are quite good. Haha.'' he said with a fake smile and then he got immediately serious and said: ''They're invading us right now, but I don't even know why they invaded us so I asked Lycia to go and get some information.''
''Hm, okay. I'll try to get better as fast as possible because it'll be our weakness.''
The man has a worried face and turns to look at the little boy who's happily in his mothers hands.
'Let's hope our little boy will be a powerful individual when he's grown.'
''I'll go look and see if there's something happening right now. I'll go get guards for u too while I am away.'' he said while turning to face the door.
''Let's hope it's only small fry..'' she said with a weird smile.
''Don't worry, as long as I, the great Demon Lord Vald, am here I'll protect my own family even if it'll cost my own life.'' he said proudly but with a serious face.
''Haha, that's true. Good luck, honey.'' she waved.
''I'll be right back.'' said Vald.
