Julius had not expected that someone would ask him a question before he could even ask anything.
Watching Julius in his thoughts and not answering the question, the old man felt anger rising, but he stopped himself and asked again, "Disciple Julius, what are you doing here?"
"Elder. Master Kiara, send me here to check on the recent reports related to disputes between disciples," Julus made up an excuse on the spot.
"Oh..." Elder finally calmed down, knowing that Julius hadn't come to report any incidents. But he was sent here by Master Kiara.
Julius also noticed the change in Elder's face.
He thought, 'He definitely asked me this question expecting a different answer.'
"Okay, I would send someone to check up on with Master Kiara first, and then you can check the records," Elder said.
Julus choked on his words when he heard what Elder replied.
"Elder, I think you should let me check the records first."
"Why?" Elder asked.
Julius was thinking of an excuse when Peko helped him.
"Tell him Kiara has gone out with her group to search for something."
"Thanks, Peko."
"Elder, because Master Kiara is not inside the sect right now. She has gone out with her group to search."
"Search? What?" Elder asked.
"I don't know about that," Julius replied.
"But still, I can't just let you have access to the records without any permission."
'Hey, Old man, just let me check those records. It's not like I would end up learning some god-like secret that you are making such a fuss.'
Suddenly he got an idea.
Elder was still thinking of something when Julius said something to him that made him change his mind, "Disciple Julius, you don't need to do something like this. I have complete trust in you. You can check the records."
'Old man, if you had let me check the records in the first place, I wouldn't have to blackmail you,' Julius thought.
"Thank Elder," Julius replied. "Which way should I go?"
"Ren, take disciple Julius to the disciple dispute record section inside the record room," Elder called a Lanky man and told him to take Julius to the record room.
Julius said goodbye to the Elder and followed behind the Lanky man.
"Chang, why did you send Julius to the record room without getting any permission," asked another elder who was watching the whole situation.
"If you had heard what he said, you be doing the same thing," Chang replied.
"What did he say," the other Elder asked again?
Chang took a deep breath and repeated what Julius said, "Since we would be waiting here, why don't I file a report of all the bullying I have faced over the years. How about that,"
When the other Elder heard what Julius had said, he took a deep breath and went back to work.
Watching the other Elder take his leave, Chang also went his way.
On the other hand, Julius happily followed behind the Lanky man.
Once Lanky man and Julius reached their destination. The Lanky man pointed towards the records and went back to his post.
Watching Lanky man leave Julius felt weird. The Lanky Man hadn't uttered a single word even when Julius tried to talk with him. The Lanky man ignored Julius the whole time. But Julius didn't mind too much and finally started to check the records.
At first, he wanted to check the recent records to find out about Yui, but once he started reading. He found out about so many things that he ended up checking every single report that was available.
After spending all his morning in it, he finally stopped. He was happy and sad at the same time. Happy because he learned so many things related to sect, and Sad because he couldn't found anything about Yui.
As Julius was thinking of leaving the record room, he heard two people talking about something which caught his attention.
"Did you know members of pill hall got injured?" one of them asked the other.
"Yeah. hahaha," the second person started laughing after answering the question,
"Why are you laughing, Kang?" The first person got confused when he heard the laugh.
"Because not only they got injured, but it was four of them who got injured fighting an alone girl. That is why I am laughing, Huan," Kang said.
"What? She alone took care of four of them," Huan was shocked hearing the reason.
"Yeah, according to what I have heard is that they called her in one of the empty rooms after the morning practice session where they tried to trade pills for her body, but she rejected it. In the end, they fought and got beaten up by the girl," Kang replied.
"What? Did that really happen?" Huan asked.
"Yeah." Kang nodded.
After hearing their conversation, Julius was sure that they were talking about Yui.
"Do you know about the girl?" Huan asked?
Kang shook his head, "No."
"That's sad. I wanted to meet the girl who fought them," Huan said.
"I don't know about her name, but I do know that she is from the outer sect," Kang said.
"Outer Sect, you do know that outer sect had more than double the members than inner sect. How could I find her with that information," Huan replied.
"Well. I can't do anything about that," Kang replied.
'Outer Sect, it would be difficult but not impossible to find her. Since I know her name,' Julius thought.
"Then, what are you waiting for," Peko said.
Julius put the records where they were formerly were and left the disciplinary hall.
Watching him leave, Lanky man called Elder Chang and told him about Julius.
"it's good that he left. Let's go back to our work." Chang said to Lanky man went back to his work.
The Lanky man also went back to his work.
