Raymond's POV
After Mike took Chloe home I teased Anna my asking her to peck me too as a friend but she was shy and embarrassed. I chuckled at her behavior, I walked into the kitchen to prepare dinner for both of us,I know Anna won't come to the eat at dinning room again at least not today. After arranging the food in a tray,I carried the tray gently, "master do you need me to carry that for you?" One of the maids offered, I didn't bother to reply. I opened the door gently so as not to disturb Anna's sleep but she is not even on bed.
I put the tray on the bedside table gently,I saw Anna on the balcony she did not even notice I'm hugging her back until she decided to turn,I decided to show her the office and workshop I prepared for her this morning. I took her to her office first, I included bedroom and garden here so that she can rest while trying to get new ideas and garden because she loves garden and maybe she can get new ideas by sitting there. Anna loved it and she even hugged me, I'm now happy,I took her to her production room. She got emotional she even thought she is troubling me, I calmed her down. Anna is not even nothing like a burden to me at all,all I aim for now is her happiness, I led her to her display room and she really loved my design. I didn't know when I kissed her, it was a reflex action we both apologise.
I was surprised when Anna showed me my suits, she made different designs and colors and it's not end of her two weeks already. I carried her to our room and I fed her dinner on the bed,we moved to the balcony afterwards. I don't like talking much but with Anna I became a talkative, I will ask her questions just to hear her voice, I said funny things just to make her laugh. "Raymond who are you? You are like a puzzle and I want to solve it" Anna said. I am happy she wants to solve my puzzle, I don't want to explain to her I want her to see for herself. I invited her to my office the next day and she agreed. We both cuddle each other as we sleep,I want to follow Mike's advise to let her fall for me and not force her into loving me.
I was woken by slender fingers tracing my facial lines, I smiled and drew Anna into my tight embrace, she was shocked she was not expecting me to hug her. "Good morning Anna" I said, "Good morning Raymond" Anna replied with her breet red face, I kissed her forehead. Anna got up and entered the bathroom. I also went to my gym by the time I'm done with my fitness training,Anna got dressed up already Anna look hot in her fitted office gown,she let her hair down . I visualize her watching me work in that hot outfit, "Raymond won't you get ready? Hello " Anna's voice while waving at me distracted.
I decided to put on one of the suits Anna made for me, I picked a blue suit Anna is wearing a blue gown, we are going to look like a real couple. I'm sure Ava won't take it lightly, after breakfast we entered my Lamborghini, Anna is now getting aquinted with my luxurious life. The drive drove us to my headquarters, Anna was just quiet throughout the ride looking outside the window.
Anna's POV
I'm really eager to know Raymond's identity,I woke up in Raymond's embrace,I was unable to move not I can't punch him or something but I love being in his arms. I used my fingers to trace is face from his nose to lips to is ears in between Raymond smiled and hugged me tightly I froze, he wished me good morning and I replied him. I decided to get dressed up early so we can leave early. Raymond left the room probably for his early morning trainings. I picked a blue fitted office gown that was only few inches away from my knees. I combed my hair and decided to let it down today. I waited for Raymond while preparing the bed, Raymond came in but he was in a daze for a while. I managed to distract him and he got ready,he wore one of the suits I made for him, I feel proud of my work.
We enter one of his long cars I think it is called Lamborghini or so. I sat by the window and watch the city different people rushing to work. Parents bading their children bye with kisses. The car stopped in front of a large building, "Sir we arrived" the driver said. "Anna let's go or I will be late" Raymond said as he held the door for me such a gentleman. Different sky rappers standing mightly beside each other. Giant letters stood in front of the sky crappers, 'QUIN CORPORATION' I read out. This is one of the largest company in the world, does he work here.
I felt Raymond's fingers interlocked in my fingers,"You work here? " I asked, "Let's go inside " was all Raymond said. He led me inside the company, different people bowing for Raymond then I remember Chloe's words Uncle is richer than my parents. He is Raymond Quin! I screamed inside, different cubicles with laptops and files on each table, some of the female workers will ogle at Raymond. I'm very nervous I can here some of their whispers asking each other if I'm his fiancee.
When we entered the elevator I cooled down because we were the only one in the elevator,this must be his private elevator. We got to a floor Ava rushed towards Raymond but disappointment was written all over her face, "Good morning boss, what is Miss Allison doing here sir?" Ava greated and queried Raymond at the same time. "Ava are you going to query me about my decisions?" Raymond shouted at Ava I even got scared I've not seen him this angry before.
"Good morning Miss Ava" I greeted her, she looked at me with disgust,her eyes fell on our interlocked fingers,I tried to withdraw my hands but Raymond held it tightly. "I'm sorry for questioning you sir, I was only curious" Ava replied. Raymond did not reply her,he dragged me towards his office. He opened the glass door and gestured me to enter,I entered and he followed me after closing the door. He walked towards his table after placing his suit on the hanger.
"Are you still angry?" I asked him to confirm, "I'm good Anna, sometimes you just have to let them know who the boss is" Raymond replied. I sat down listening to him, "Anna beware of that girl Ava,she is vicious" Raymond warned. I just nodded my head,I don't know what to say, "you can check the magazines,I will hurry up with my work" Raymond said and continue his work.
Ava entered few hours later she gave me a disgusted look,but I don't care I smiled back in return. "Sir I'm here to list your schedules for today. You missed meetings for the past two days." Ava explained calmly. "Go ahead" Raymond replied without raising his head. "Mrs Stone will be meeting with you by 2PM today, You are to visit Quin Tech 3PM today. After visiting Quin Tech, you will be going to survey the construction works under Quin. But this morning you are to visit our Fashion House,we will leave in thirty minutes sir." Ava explained. Raymond raised his head, "Okay prepare a separate car for Anna and I then separate car for you. We are leaving in ten minutes" Raymond replied Ava.
Ava stormed out of the office furiously, I adjusted my dress and picked my bag. Raymond put on his suit,"Are you ready Anna?" Raymond asked and grabbed my hands. Ava looked at me with disgust, I tried to withdraw my hands but Raymond gripped tightly. I had no other choice other than giving up,we entered the car after few minutes we arrived infront of another building 'QUIN FASHION HOUSE' was written boldly. Ava trailed behind us as we entered the building,most workers bowed to Raymond as a sign of respect,some customers were leaving with shopping bags while some are just entering looking for perfect items.
Ava's POV
I can't believe Raymond disgraced me infront of that bitch, they even held hands tch I only ask a question. I'm fuming with anger, it's all because of her, Raymond is mine. Allison Anna you dare snatch Raymond away from me. I opened my phone to check the staffs groupchat, I told the staffs Raymond and I were dating, he really disgraced infront of the whole company. So many messages and most people were talking about Anna and how Raymond was holding her gently. Why will he smile because of her? How did she get to Las Vegas? I called Jessie my best friend and informed her about Anna,she advised me to keep Raymond busy so that he won't have time to think about Anna.
I hope this works I peeped through the door they were not talking, are they making out? No never they won't, I entered the office I gave Anna a deadly stare. I listed up to four meeting schedules out for Raymond,now I will get time to be alone with Raymond. But Raymond invited her to follow us to the Fashion House,he even made me sit in a different car. First I can't visit his house,now he is with Anna and he is avoiding me like deadly virus. This is too much for me to take in,I followed them I won't allow this. Anna you can enjoy as much as you want, Raymond will be mine soon.
He asked Anna to do the inspection we usually do together, Anna made corrections and commended the workers, that was supposed to be my position. I'm the only one for Raymond now she is taking my place. Raymond announced she will be the one inspecting the Fashion House as from today.
"Sir Mrs. Stone is waiting" I said, we went back to the office. Raymond asked Anna to stay in his office,he even allowed her to sign the documents related to the Fashion House. When were about to enter the meeting room he called one of the staffs to deliver lunch to Anna. I just control my anger because I have better plans. "Ava you can go back to your office. I will deal with Mrs. Stone myself go and rest" Raymond said and I blushed. After getting to my office,I ate lunch first. Now time to get rid of the intruder, I walked into the office and Anna was sitting on Raymond's sit reading some documents. "Looks like a small boutique owner managed to get herself into her client's bed" I said as I entered the office but she ignored me as if I don't exist.
"I see you got balls after spending a night with Raymond" I said,Anna raised her head with a sacrastic look on her face, "Hmmmmmmmm I don't know what to do should I laugh at someone's stupidity or beat foolishness out of someone" She said walking towards me. "At least I'm not the stupid that doesn't know her place,what if I sleep with Raymond? At least he looks at me and holds my hand,that shows you don't have any chance with him" Anna said now my back hit the cold wall.
I received a slap from Anna I was shocked, "That is for insulting me Ava. You are in love with Raymond just because of his money" Anna said and walked towards Raymond's seat,she sat down and continue her work as if nothing happened. I walked out of the office shamefully, I was supposed to put her in her place and not vice versa. Anna let's wait and see the one who gets Raymond, enjoy while you can.
I made sure I separated Raymond from Anna for the rest of the day,I got angry again at closing time and they went back to Raymond's mansion together. I left the office through the back elevator as I couldn't face the staff. I called Jessie over so that she can help me with a good plan to have Raymond forever.
Raymond's POV
Finally it's closing time I went back home with Anna but I noticed her mood has changed. I tried asking her in the car but she just ignored me, immediately we got home she went directly to our room, I gave Derrick few instructions,I asked the cooks to bring our food to our room. I have to find out the reason behind Anna's behavior, I felt Ava did something to Anna while I was away. I met her on the bed sobbing, I moved closer to Anna and embraced her. "Anna please stop crying, what happened? Did Ava do anything?" I asked her softly.
"She... She.... She called me a whore Raymond,do you see me as a whore? I didn't do anything to her,why does she have to insult me?" Anna's outburst made me sad,I guessed right I will make sure Ava regret making my Anna cry. I used my thumb to wipe her tears,"Anna you are not a whore, not to me or anyone. I will make sure I punish Ava for making you cry. You are my source of happiness Anna and I will do anything to make you happy" I assured her.
"You don't have to punish Ava,my slap and words are enough to punish her Raymond" Anna said,now I know she is a strong woman. She will never show her weakness infront of anyone,I hugged her tightly. "I'm sorry Anna I was the one who took you to my office" I said trying to calm her down. "No it's not your fault Raymond. I still find it hard to believe that you are Raymond Quin,I'm not really a social media person so I am sorry if I did not give you enough respect." Anna said and I frowned who asked for her respect. "I was only joking Raymond don't take it seriously" Anna said and we both laughed.
"Master may I come in?" The cook asked, "yes " I replied,the cook entered with a trolley filled with different dishes,he arranged the food on the table in my room. I helped Anna sit and started feeding her,she will also fed me whenever she notice I'm not eating. After dinner Anna entered the bathroom to change her outfit into pyjamas. I entered the bathroom after Anna. We sat down in the balcony to enjoy the night view,we get closer than before. We went to bed afterwards, we both enjoy each other's company.
Mike's POV
"Dad I just discovered a new drug component" Chloe said ranning towards me, I carried her in my arms. "Really little Princess you are making daddy proud. Do you care to explain your new invention?" I said cupping her cheeks. "Yes dad. I noticed most of my classmates and kids are usually afraid to take drugs,I tried to find a solution. I found a component that will make the drugs sweet and will not affect the main component of the drug" Chloe explained while showing me her research note.
I can say I'm very proud of my daughter,she has interest in medicine,she reads medical books instead of normal books,her IQ is higher than what normal kids of her age have,she also have high EQ too. Most times she will give me tips to end fights with her mom. Marie and I met at medical school, Marie is now a surgeon she is the best surgeon in Adam Medical Research Center, that's where I also work.
Chloe has been following me to work since she was two, "Daddy don't you think we should help Uncle Ray and Aunt Anna?" Chloe asked. I also noticed the chemistry between them but Anna needs time. "We should leave them for a while" I replied Chloe, "Okay then I will leave it" Chloe said,I know she is sad but I can't rush both of them. "Little princess will you like to taste daddy's cooking?" I asked her trying to lift her mood,she lightened up immediately.
Marie joined us in the kitchen,most times we all prepared family dinner together,this is what I dream of. A family I love and care for,a home where happiness and peace abides. Marie and I read one of Chloe's favorite medical books to her before wishing her good night.
"Honey don't you think Chloe is too young for all these? "Marie said,I understand she is worried for Chloe even I get afraid sometimes. "Darling she is not too young,her IQ is higher than her mates. And proud of her sometimes I get afraid,what if we are not training her well but I realized we are training her well. She is just growing up just like me" I explained to Marie.
I don't want to hinder Chloe's dreams, we as parents just have to guide and protect her when needed. I hugged Marie,"Thank you for giving me a beautiful princess,shall we go and reproduce an handsome prince?" I asked Marie and we both chuckled. I carried her to our bedroom and we had passionate night together.
Few weeks later
Anna's POV
The past few weeks have been boring, waking up in the morning after breakfast, I will wish Raymond good luck at work. Then resume my office now I make deliveries not only in Nashville and Las Vegas, I have made up to 1.5 million followers on my business page on Instagram. I got busy, Raymond is also busy too with his new project and his companies anniversary coming up, sometimes I will visit Quin's Fashion House to inspect I made friends with the staffs there.
I will make use of the maids as my models and sometimes Raymond will volunteer to be my model during weekends, sometimes Chloe and her parents will model for me. I don't even think about my life in Nashville again,Jake is yet to be found,I am getting closer to Raymond even though we spend little time with each other it really worth it.
Today Chloe came over and we decided to visit the amusement park since it is Saturday, Raymond volunteered to follow us. We arrived at the amusement park, different families and couples came to enjoy and spend time with their families, "Aunt Anna and Uncle Ray you guys have to pretend like my parents okay?" Chloe said, "Why should I do that? Are you an orphan? " Raymond rejected her offer immediately, "Daddy does not love me" Chloe started crying loud many people looked at Raymond as if he is a bad dad, "don't worry Chloe we will do as you say,now stop crying" I said as I cleaned her tears.
"Raymond let's just do as she wants today,I can't continue to get those looks " I said looking at Raymond trying to convince him, "okay" he replied. "Thank you mom and dad" Chloe said and hugged both of us. Such a sweet child. "Now let's go get you ice cream" I said and we walked towards the ice cream stall. "Three bowls, Chloe which flavor?" I asked Chloe, "I love banana flavor with mint flavor" Chloe replied smiling radiantly, "What about you Raymond?" I said and turned to Raymond, "Well anything you get" he replied.
"Okay one bowl of banana and mint flavors and two bowls of butterscotch flavor" I said to the attendant. After receiving the ice creams, I settled the bill. We sat down at a table and started eating our ice cream, "Mom dad let's take pictures" Chloe said. Surprisingly Raymond did not disagree, we took different selfies on Raymond's phone Chloe insisted on taking me and Raymond's couple pictures. We agreed with her even though I'm shy, we stood few inches apart, "Not like that, dad hold Mommy's waist" Chloe said and Raymond followed her instructions,we took few more pictures.
"Mommy daddy let go see the bouncy castle" Chloe said,after jumping with her she decided to ride the fairy wheel,I am afraid of heights but I have to make Chloe happy. I bought three tickets and we entered the fairy wheel, I was afraid when the engine started I started feeling dizzy few minutes later. I don't want to show people my weakness,I started sweating. "Are you okay?" Raymond asked and I just strike my head as yes, when the wheel reached its peak I got scared, Chloe was having fun. I tried to manage but the wheel started moving again I was unable to control the dizziness till I blacked out.
