Song Recommendation: Glass House by Morgan Saint / This is How You Fall in Love by Jeremy Zucker & Chelsea Cutler
"It's for your effort but not on this one" his gaze fall on her lips, raising his other hand to gently touch the other side of her face, he leans closer to her until his lips gently brush hers as their lips met.
When Saff said 'this one' he meant for the kiss as he wouldn't regret any of it, in fact he is savoring every bit of it.
His kiss is different this time, unlike their first time at the music room which is a bit sudden and rough as the emotions are intense, this one is more gentle and romantic, and Emy felt the same way as well.
Time seems to stop at this moment for Emy, his lips are gently sucking her lower lip, and she closed her eyes as if she is slowly drowning into his warm breath. 'Is it alright for me to be careless' Emy thought at the back of her mind as this overwhelming feeling makes all her worries to flash away, and she couldn't help to give in.
Saff gently bite her lower lip as if he wanted to feel her juicy lips on his teeth that made Emy to let out a soft moan as she parted her lips, and as if inviting him, Saff gently slipped his tongue inside her mouth to fully taste her sweetness. His eyes are half close, glancing at her from time to time, cherishing every second of this moment with her.
Gasps escaped her lips as she feels slightly breathless, and then their kiss became slower as soon as Saff slowly pulls back, withdrawing his lips from her. Saff leans his forehead toward Emy's, still holding her closely with their forehead touching each other as they are trying to catch their breath, eyes closed.
"Now you know what I mean when I said I miss you, it is how I felt in a day without you" Emy heard Saff spoke, his voice low almost like a whisper and it came to her like he was pleading.
Saff gently pulled back his head, giving Emy a little space to breathe while his hands reached for her hands that is slightly clenching onto her pants all this time. His holding it like he is making her calm, and he pulls out his handkerchief with his one hand to wipe her lips as her lipstick was smudged because of their kiss.
"Did you really miss me when you have someone's photo to stare at all night?" her lips pout as the thought of it came back to her mind and somehow she doubted his words.
Saff chuckled at her before he says "Stop being so cute or else you'll end up having more than just a morning kiss" his lips turned up to one side as he winked at her.
Emy's red face has not fully subsided and yet this man wouldn't stop fluttering her for even a minute, with that Emy turned her body so she can seat properly facing the wind shield of the car, when Saff move to lean towards her again, only this time to reach for the seat belt on her side and buckle it up for her.
Emy slightly froze at his sudden move, her heart skip a beat again, Saff noticed her body became tensed and then he says "You should get used to it as I like doing this kind of little things for you" he smiled at her before he buckle his seat belt as well, starts the engine and drive to his planned location.
On their way, Emy can't help glancing at him from time to time while thinking about their second kiss a while ago. She liked it, in fact if he would ask her to tell him how she felt with their kiss, she would say how she wanted it to last like she never wanted it to end so soon.
Emy is in deep thoughts as if weighing her feelings for this man, and it also surprises her how she was still able to feel this after what happened in her past. She would have never expected any of this, she never got interested for once on any blind dates with other men, and she never have thought that she would be able to kiss a man again.
Right now, they do not label their relationship yet but it appears like they are exclusively dating as of this moment. Although Emy knew that she is starting to fall for this man, there is still uncertainty that lingers at the back of her mind and she is waiting for a little push, just one more go signal for her to make a final decision to choose between yes or no, like a tie breaker that will determine a favorable decision, a make or break sign.
Emy came back from her deep thoughts once she noticed that Saff is already parking his car, they had arrived at his favorite place, the beach. Both of them got out of the car as soon as Saff is done putting on his usual disguise.
Emy's eyes are looking around as she is scanning if there are café or restaurant nearby, but to her disappointment she hadn't seen one, only food stalls at this parking area but she doubt if Saff will be able to eat at any of it, not that they are against the quality of the food there but more like cautious about the attention they might get with the amount of people that is eating there.
Noticing Emy is worrying, Saff smiled at her as if telling her that he got this, and then he walk towards the car compartment and opened it, Emy's eyes widen in surprised as she saw a big picnic basket inside for Saff to chuckle at her reaction.
Both of them headed to the usual spot that Saff mentioned to Emy before, the first time he took her here. Saff laid out a medium sized picnic blanket at the sandy shore, and then he kneels down on it to pull out the food that he had prepared from the basket one by one.
"I didn't know you could cook? Did you prepare all of these?" Emy asked looking at the packed foods while taking off her shoes, placing it beside the blanket to settle her feet and sits on the blanket.
"Why does it feel like your doubting my skills?" Saff asked back, his words teasing her again but his eyebrows slightly knitted.
"Seemed like you really came prepared for this" Emy's mouth curved into a smile as she was impressed with his effort while picking the small slice of watermelon to put inside her mouth.
Saff sits in front of her where the foods are placed between them, his back facing the beach shore as it is the safest way to avoid getting attention from other people. He pulled out his dark gray tint aviator sunglass from his pouch to put it on, as he needed to take off his mask to be able to eat while still wearing his bucket hat.
Emy stares at him as she silently observes his every move when she heard him say "A thermos of hot coffee for us", Saff said while pouring coffee in the mugs, serving one for him and one for Emy, he smiled at her as he handed the mug that Emy took with both of her hands.
Looking at this young man in front of her, Emy thought to in her mind 'how would he be able to avoid other people from paying attention onto him if he was this handsome? With his clothing style, fair skin, and that aviator sunglass, I think it is impossible for him to not gain attention from anyone" her lips pouted as she doesn't want other people staring at him but then with his status, she is aware that it would be impossible for him.
"What do you prefer Pasta or sandwich?" Saff pulled her out from deep thoughts when she heard him asked then she answered "pasta"
"I'm thinking I'll give you enough time later to stare at me once we're back at our car" Saff said smiling playfully as he teases her while giving her a bowl of pasta, and Emy responded with a glare as she took the bowl from him.
Tasting the pasta he had prepared, Emy is quite impressed that it's delicious, noticing Saff is not eating yet as he is peeling the sautéed shrimps now, she says "You're allergic to that right? Why'd you still brought it?" her voice worried.
"It's because you like it" Saff simply answered while he placed the peeled shrimps that he put into a bowl beside her mug.
Emy was pleased at his thoughtfulness and being mindful of what she liked, but then it soon replaced with questions on her mind as she suddenly remembered something about it.
"How did you know that I like seafood? It seemed like you already knew it back then when we had our first lunch out at the restaurant" her eyebrows slightly knitted in confusion, her eyes waiting for answers.
Hearing her asked, Saff stopped from sipping his coffee and he looked back at her with his face looking serious now, and then Emy continue to say "Actually I wanted to ask you something since I started as your manager but we never got a chance to really talk like this"
"What is it?" Saff asked
"That day, on one of the meeting room, why did you already welcomed me at the company? When I just had my interview that time" Emy asked, carefully scanning Saff's reaction as she waits for his answer.
