Chapter 46 - FORTY SIX (LETHA)

Letha has not been able to stop crying and choking since Lean's return a few minutes ago. It may have been five minutes since Lean walked away from the door of her apartment, not wanting to be haunted by guilt worse than this. But for Letha it was too much. How could a man pretend to be another man who is currently dead. For God's sake, Letha's heart broke after hearing the honest confession from fake Lean about him who was not Lean. That man was Michiel Thompson, who had been pretending to be Lean all along to... I don't know, whatever reason that guy tried to trick her and the millions of other people out there was, it just couldn't be helped.
