Bella POV
Skeleton wall, New Irismus
After a while the horrors of this white wall of bones had begun to wear off us. No matter how terrible it was, it was but human nature to become inured to it. I realized that as we rode together. By now Ivy and I were no longer in the mood to discuss our conspiracy theories anymore. The sun was beating down on us mercilessly and we were now sparing all our energy, for the ride. Through the bond I could feel Ivy and Iris both flagging off as well. It was a tough ride.
Rob sidled up to me and whispered, "This is an evil place isn't it?"
I found myself barely nodding at him, in response. He gave me his flask and said, "Here take a sip of that wonderful elixir that you brought in from inside those ravines. It's a damn good thing you brought us."
I looked at him in surprise, "I have my own flask, thanks!"
He nudged me again and said, "Go on, have a sip, I won't count if you don't. I know you want it."
