"Why is that?" I asked unhappily.
Flanagan and Ivy feel you deserve another chance. They have agreed to have you in their team. They have a bunch of people going to New Irismus, which was once The Blight, to do a searching party for any straggling imbalances there. They feel they can use someone of your skills."
"Oh?" I asked.
Just like that. It seemed odd, but I had no idea why. Questions kept churning in my mind.
"This man we met, just now. The one you called Ashdeer.....were he and Azriel ever....I mean did they?" I hesitated, while asking such personal questions. I didn't want Quinn to think of me as a lovelorn teenager but I was dying to know more about Ashdeer.
