Azriel felt ill watching the troubled family dynamics. It was obvious that the Dark Lord got a special kick out of needling Ashmeer.
She sat watching her plate and wondered when this dinner from Hell would end. In fact, perhaps a dinner in Hell might have been better than whatever was happening here.
The Dark Lord clapped his hands and said, "Kali, I am pleased with your training of Parina!"
Azriel shut her eyes and gritted her teeth The Dark Lord was intent in renaming her and changing her whole history.
Belal cleared his throat and said, "I think we need to introduce Parina as my consort to the Blight now. She must have an official position here, else someone or something will tear her apart."
