I can't concentrate on my work , her words keep running on my mind repeatedly ; it's annoying me . Because I thought I wouldn't expect anything form her. But , my irritation explains me the situation accurately . I heavily sighed .
"What is the sigh for?" Liam entered my office with documents and placed the documents in front of me and stared at me for my answer.
"It's nothing , Liam"; I said and I sat up straight in my chair to see the documents .
"It's the documents about Augusta Canmore that you asked me in the morning", he said .
"Good , then you can continue your other works", I said as I placed my two fingers on my cheeks and waved him to get out.
But , Liam didn't move an inch and just stared at me .
"What is it?" I asked him by narrowing my eyes.
"Are you sure about this ?" He asked me in a worried voice.
"What is it ? it's not something new for us ", I asked him suspiciously.
"It's just , she's your wife and there is also her personal information about her love life..." he said and sighed after few minutes.
"You don't have to worry , Liam . I can handle ," I said and he nodded and left me alone. I don't know why Liam is so worried about me .
I won't expect anything from her , even if I said that ; I'm expecting that there's a reason for her hostile behaviour towards me. Should I blame my stupidity ? Ha , I closed my eyes for few minutes ; So I can prepare myself. I opened the document.
'Augusta Canmore , 21 years old born on September 12, 1999. She is the second child and first princess of Gaul country . She has an elder brother , who is 25 years old , Andrew Canmore , the current King of Gaul country.
Her parents ; The previous King and Queen died , when she was 16 years old.'
I was 24 years old ,back then . I have a reminiscence of hearing this from Liam ; I didn't mind about other countries , because my uncle was pressuring me by causing small troubles to keep me busy like he doesn't want me to find.... Wait , why didn't I thought of it ?
I'm being played by him. I have to investigate it .
The one , who informed me about marriage partner also was my uncle ; he said , the trade between our countries was quite unstable ; if this leads we won't have enough rations for people next year. I thought about making deal with other countries ;but that was the time I got marriage proposal .So I thought it's difficult to build trust with other countries , lastly I agreed.
Why didn't I thought of that condition? I was busy with other affairs on that time , so it's easy for my uncle to do underhand tricks to make fool of me and the Gaul country in the trade matters .
I see , then she didn't married to me willingly. I sighed. I stood up and put the documents on the tables ; went make a cup of coffee , where there is a coffee maker on the left side of the entrance for my office . I took my coffee and sat on my balcony bar. The weather was complete opposite to my mood. It was beautiful.
I opened the glass door and placed my cup on the table ; I continued to read the documents.
'She studied Business administration and finance in Columbia University ; She is a top graduate.'
Wow , I thought she was just a spoiled kid ; But it doesn't seems like that case. I smiled . I continued;
'She had a relationship with her senior for one year ;Then she broke up with him because he was a royalty.'
I crushed the paper , as soon I saw the word Royalty . I have to control ; The only Royal other than my cousin , who's in the similar age as Augusta is second prince of the country Prussia , 'Noah Dlamini'.
Prussia country is a part of old Egyptian civilization , that still ruled by monarch system. They are known for their richness in culture and architecture . Then , the princes of Prussia are exceptionally handsome. I saw him in the last year Royal party with his brother . Even though he's not handsome as me .( He's narcissist lol ) . I gritted my teeth by thinking about him with Augusta .
I took my phone and called Liam ; " I need to know everything about Augusta's relationship with Noah by tomorrow." I said and hanged up the call.
I opened another document , it was about Augusta's likes and dislikes . The corner of my lips curled up slightly with the excitement . 'Why am I behaving like a child? '. I pulled myself together and started to read the document.
'She likes sweet things ; her favourite colour is lavender , and mostly light colours .' But why is she wearing dark colours here and heavy makeup too. I continued to read her likes and dislikes ; it's complete opposite of the current Augusta .
Why is she hiding her true self with a mask ? and flipped the paper , it was a photo of Augusta in her college days. I gasped for a moment . Is this Augusta's true self ? She's gorgeous in her light dress with light make up and has a sweet elegant look ; She's not faking her smile or smirking like she did with me. She is smiling for real . ' I wish I could be the one to made you smile like this '.
I paused after that thought ; What am I thinking like an idiot? I can't understand anything , even if I understand it , I don't want to accept it . I massaged my temples and removed my contact lens . I'm short sighted , so I usually wear contact lens ; But sometimes it makes me uncomfortable so I wear specs in my office.
(knock*)
"Master , it's time for you to get ready for the party", The bulter informed me and stood in front of my door .
"I am coming , you can leave " , I said and removed my specs ; I got up and went to my room.
I took a shower and wore the cologne , which she said to me was nice earlier. I think she will notice it immediately. I wore a black suit and Rolex watch .
' I think this suit looks better on me ' I smiled by seeing my reflection on the mirror. I went down to my Car park ; There was more than ten cars ; I chose a Black ferrari because of my suit and said the driver to drive me in front of the entrance to pick up my wife.
I'm glad she's coming at time , I hated waiting the most . It was not clear , because she was at distant . Now seeing her coming in front me ; She's beautiful ,not as elegant but it was hot ; Her silver dress perfectly fits her shape . I hate it when thinking about other men going to see her like this . But it's okay , I will just pluck out their eyes.
But it's really a surprise , I'm feeling so many emotions in a day because of her . Usually, my days will be boring all along. She really does magic within me . As I was in my own reverie ; She stood in front of me and waved her hands in front of me .
"Are you there?" she said and I snapped back to the reality and opened the car door for her and went other side to sit beside her . I removed my coat button and sat beside her .
She had a straight posture and she crossed her long legs ; folding her arms below her chest and facing the window . It seems , she doesn't want to see my face . I hope one day you'll show your true self with me and I will never let you to wear your mask again.
But , her expressions seem to be lighter than before . I saw her by supporting my head with my hand and crossing my legs.
"What are looking at ?" she said by facing towards the window. Is she going to ignore me? .hmph ,I don't like it.
"It's just you are so beautiful , I can't take off my eyes from you", I leaned and whispered near her ears .
"What ?" she jumped away from me like a wild cat .
