Chapter 17 - A Third of the Day (16+)

The lady in red carefully felt the golden eye, looked at it from different angles. The Red Entity touched the claw. The eye glowed, exuding a noble light.

The woman nodded, and at the wave of a thin hand, the wind swept through her clothes, clearing them of dirt. Small snakes appeared in the red fabric, barely visible to the eye-born by the wind.

The Red Entity took out a cuirass and helmet, spat on them and began to rub them. A faint breeze rose in the room. The saliva turned into snakes from the streams of air. They penetrated deep into the steel. By the end of the rubbing, the armor was cool and fresh.

The three-eyed Red Entity lightly struck the armor. The steel held. The next time, the impact force tripled. No flaws! The third time, the force increased nine times from the previous one, the metal slightly bent.

The Red Entity nodded in satisfaction. She spat a copper snake on the palm of her hand and put it to the place of light damage. The dent was straightened out.

The lady put on her helmet and fastened a cuirass with a stiffening rib across her chest on her torso.

Spinning in front of the mirror, the lady smiled: the rib of rigidity emphasized her chest, but had a streamlined shape.

"Yaro uht* * * hikhu yari libh! Ha-ha-ha!"

The red essence stood behind in a pose that showed off her elegance and slimness.

The lady placed the golden eye in the helmet, opened the window and entered the air anacondas. Below them were immense heights. Everything on earth was so far away and small that it looked more like a beautiful engraving.

The shadows of the branches that grew high above and merged into one trunk fell on the lady. Different people were fussing: they opened the windows on the trunk of the tree and flew out, walked up the stairs, went about their business on the platforms arranged on huge tree mushrooms, similar to inonotus.

The lady flew into the distance. Thirty minutes later, she was already hovering over the fields. Fields of various sizes and colors filled the landscape to the horizon. The lady was carefully examining the area.

Crowds of people in yellow uniforms were cultivating the arable land with the help of various animals. One of these people with a moustache, paired with a three-armed entity covered with thorns, watered blue cobs with mouths. Their mouths greedily absorbed the moisture. Having finished watering, the mustachioed gentleman released three animals.

The first produced beetles that crawled into the mouths and died there.

The second bit through the blackened places of the plant and injected a blue substance, after which the stem acquired a normal blue color.

The third examined the mouths on the cob and collected those that exceeded the size of one foot.

The gentleman was scratching his moustache. His face was sweating. A black entity covered with thorns watched the beasts, sometimes making gestures with his hands.

The work was interrupted by tremors. The barbel jumped away from the ears, and at the same moment a pillar of soil was thrown up. People in yellow robes rushed into the scattering.

A Combination of rods, nine throats on long necks. The bone rods rushed after the moustache. The spiked entity covered the master. The rods stuck in one by one. Moustache and essence screamed in pain.

A Combination of rods was preparing to string these two, but the wind broke the bone rods. The nine throats of the Combination howled, it tried to burrow back.

The Red Essence was raining down from the sky. Under the firm feet, the Combination crunched like a lot of tiny cockroaches.

The Combination launched rods at the enemy. The essence danced like a red petal, dodging the sharp rods. Nine throats spat blood, they wanted to burrow into the soil, but air anacondas bit into them.

The lady looked at the monster, and the woman's sweet face twisted. The rods flew towards her, hit her helmets. Torn corpses of snakes flew out of the air from the metal. The lady was pushed a hundred feet away.

"Shedeh!!!"

The lady in red took out a shiny snake with a red copper sheen and rushed at the monster.

The Red Entity followed the lady's example, entering into a joint attack. The combination deflected the first blow of the lady, the second broke one of the throats of the Combination. The Entity completed the life of the Combination with a third attack, piercing through the monster's torso.

The Combination lay drenched in its own blood.

"Ha, ha, ha! Ku shedeh!"

"Kano! Kano! Kano!" people in yellow robes were bowing

The gentleman with the moustache waved to the lady and bowed.

"Bih bohlimi to, shtormeh neht?"

The lady waved back at the moustache.

"Bih bohlimi to? Ha-ha-ha! Leroo Nahat!"

"Hihtapha Khahit."

The lady took a piece of paper out of the snake's dry mouth, kissed it and threw it to the mustache.

"Oh... Shtormehu, akhe ... eh?!"

The lady in red disappeared in the sky.

The lady looked out over the fertile valley. A man dressed in the same red uniform flew past. The woman bowed to him, he scratched his head in embarrassment and also bowed. They both exchanged a few phrases and continued to deal with their worries.

The lady turned her gaze to the sky. The Crimson Luminary was setting over the horizon. The White Luminary was in a hurry to climb to the highest point. And the Purple Halo was just crawling out of the earth's bed.

"Eckh! Shtomeh karhabh, Leroo!" the lady yawned.

There was a pole on one of the fields. The lady frowned. A dead girl was nailed to a post with a tens nails. Her dead-pale skin is covered with dirt.

The lady looked at the girl's hands. The right one had a bloody color, the left one was painted in a rotten purple. The lady peered at the corpse's face... pupils of different colors… Red and Purple.

The woman's clear, watery eyes popped out of their sockets. The delicate lips were disgustingly pursed. And disgusting wrinkles appeared above his forehead.

"Ha-ha-ha-ha!"

The lady plunged a snake spear into the heart of the dead girl, piercing through the pillar. But even this did not calm the anger of this evil madwoman.

The woman spat. Once, Twice, Three times, Four times, Five times, Six times, Seven times, Eight times, Nine times… Twenty-Seven times in total.

The lady seemed a real monster, lurking into a human skin.

"Pe'li-mra!" she winced in disgust.

A little child girl came to the post at the noise. She brushed the dust from her yellow robe and laughed maliciously.

"Yaro biht pe'li gashatah karen hogoh varhatah, akhe goh!

"Hmm, shtormeh mih neht! Ha-ha-ha!" the lady took a handful of coins from the snake's throat. "Li!"

The coins jumped, the eyes inscribed on them blinked, and the money flew straight into child girl's eyed book.

The child girl smiled with crooked teeth (just like the "meek lamb" Judas). And she went on to work the fields.

The lady left the post with the dead girl.
