The ball was elegant and most of the members of the ton were left gawking at the walls and all the beautiful decorations, the food, the band and the beautiful dresses they all wore. The king and Queen with the rest of the royal family would be making an appearance soon where everybody should be present already to pay their respect to their king together.
Quinn could not wait for that moment, at least, it would keep these chattering ladies and their mamas away from him. Only if Nesta was there already, then he would not have to worry so much and face all these drama. He looked towards the entrance again but still no sign of her. He gently sighed, worried that she and her father would be late this time around, as it was important Nesta and Lord Weaver were in attendance before the royal family's appearance. Tonight is an important one and he could not imagine anything going wrong for any reason.
