A resigned smile tugged at the corner of Jasper's lips. He admired Nesta's perceptiveness, even as it threatened to unravel his plans. "Alright, you caught me," he admitted, giving in to her persistence. "I do know who Quinn is."
Nesta's eyes widened in surprise. "How? Why didn't you tell me before?" she asked, a mix of curiosity and suspicion in her voice.
"You never mentioned his name until I asked so I had no idea who he was. You really can't blame me there." he said, trying to defend himself.
"But why did you act like that and hesitated when I told you his name? You know something I do not and after everything I just told you about what happened to me, don't you think I deserve to know everything even if you think it is irrelevant?" Nesta asked, her emotions surfacing once again.
