First paper thrown, then second paper thrown, and Oriana continued to scribble on the third paper. Eleo was looking at Oriana who was trying to solve a mathematics question and he became frustrated just by watching her.
He asked Oriana, "Do you need any help there, Oriana?"
Oriana looked at Eleo with her puppy eyes and said, "Why is the math subject really difficult?"
Eleo sighed and looked at the question. He taught Oriana on how to solve the question and Oriana thanked him. Both of them proceeded with their studies. After one hour, Oriana stretched her body and stood up from her chair. She headed to a nearby sofa and laid down. She even invited Eleo to sit on the sofa and Eleo followed her.
Both of them sat quietly for a few moments and Oriana questioned Eleo, "Eleo, what is your plan after graduating from high school?"
Eleo answered, "You know as a son of the owner of a company, I don't have much choice, but to choose to study business. I'm fine with it also. What about you, Oriana?"
"Ermmm, me? I still can't figure it out," she paused and continued saying, "Probably, I should become a professional dancer. What you think?"
Oriana jumped from the sofa to show Eleo some dance moves.
Eleo was stunned by her answer and asked, "What about your parents' company?"
Oriana, who was still dancing, replied, "Oh, that. I'm pretty sure I'm not good at business. So, let my future husband take care of it," and she laughed.
In Eleo's mind, "Hrmm, if I become your husband, I need to handle both families' business," and he shook his head while thinking of it.
At that moment, he was invited by Oriana to join the dance and he accepted it. They danced the beginning of waltz steps and then rested on the sofa. Oriana laid-back on the sofa and closed her eyes as she was exhausted while Eleo was sitting on a sofa next to her. For a few minutes, he was gazing at Oriana without blinking and then unintentionally leaned slightly towards her. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door and Oriana opened her eyes after hearing the sound. She saw Eleo's face next to her and he looked startled and blushed at the same time.
Without any delay, Eleo rushed to open the door and the servant at the door said, "Sir, the lunch is ready. Sir and madam can head to the dining table to have lunch."
Eleo while faking a smile on his face replied, "Great timing, miss. We will come in a while."
Oriana chuckled hearing Eleo's and the servant's conversation. She knew he was sarcastically responding to the servant and dragged Eleo to the dining table while saying, "Enough of talking. I'm starving. Let's go and eat."
In the evening, after finishing their revision, Eleo and Oriana were resting in the hall. Oriana's parents came back from their work looking high-spirited.
Oriana, who was curious about their delighted faces, questioned them, "Mom! Dad! Why are you both looking so lively today?"
Oriana's dad responded, "Guess what dear? Today your mom and I sat together and arranged the date for your birthday party."
Overjoyed Oriana went to hug her parents and thanked them. Eleo was sitting near them and was smiling at them but Mrs. Summer noticed the difference in his smile.
She added, "The party will be held in our house during the semester break and Eleo can help Oriana to choose whom to invite to this party," and smiled sweetly at Eleo.
Eleo, who realized that Mrs. Summer noticed his concern, smiled and responded, "Yeah, sure, aunty. I am always ready to help Oriana."
All of them were busy discussing the plans and Oriana's parents taking note of the details and things their only daughter wanted at her birthday party.
Soon, the midterm examination started and all of the students seemed stressed about it. After one week of the examination, Oriana looked pressured and Mrs. Summer was worried about her. After dinner, she called Oriana to her room and chatted with her. It turned out Oriana was concerned about her examination that she did last week. Mrs. Summer patiently explained to her to focus on the upcoming examinations and to not feel bothered about the past. In order to cheer up Oriana, Mrs. Summer took out the dress she prepared for her for the party. Oriana was stunned looking at the dress and was pleased with her mother's way to motivate her.
"Does this dress look pretty? But if you want to wear a different dress to the party, I have no problem, dear," claimed Mrs. Summer.
"I love it, mom!" Oriana answered and hugged her mother.
Eleo, who came from the kitchen, was passing by Mrs. Summer's room to go to Oriana's room, overheard the laughing of both mother and daughter.
In his mind, he thought, "Seems like there is no more depressed person who needs my help here."
Then, he walked across and went to his room with a piece of cake that he bought for Oriana to comfort her. Late at night, Eleo was standing at his balcony while looking at the sky and Oriana came out of her room to stand at her balcony as well. Eleo was concentrating on the stars in the sky and didn't notice Oriana's presence.
Oriana softly voiced out, "Hello, Mr. Eleodoro Horus. What are you holding in the plate?"
Panicked Eleo almost dropped the food he was holding.
He was shocked to see Oriana at that moment, and asked her while lending her the food he was holding, "Why are you still awake?"
Oriana ignored Eleo's question and without hesitating, she took a bit of the cake
She said, "Hmm, my favorite flavor. Did you buy it, Eleo?"
Eleo nodded and acknowledged, "You can have all of it."
Eleo and Oriana viewed the sky together from their balcony.
While watching the sky, Eleo mumbled, "I hope I can watch the sky like this again in the future," and turned his head towards Oriana.
