Everyone started to sing birthday songs for Oriana and then she blew the candles. After she fed her parents the cakes, Mrs. Summer handed Oriana a gift box and asked her to open it then and there. Inside the box, there was an exquisite diamond necklace and Mrs. Summer helped Oriana to wear it. The guests were amazed by the elegant ornament as it was specially brought for Oriana from Russia by her parents during one of their business trips.
Oriana was grateful for all the efforts her parents took for her since she was born. She hugged both of them and thanked them for everything. She even teared up a little while hugging them.
Eleo teased her by saying, "Don't be a crybaby. You already turned seventeen today."
While wiping her tears, Oriana nudged Eleo and questioned him, "Hey! Where is your gift, old man?"
Eleo smiled at her and Mrs. Summer answered Oriana's question, "Darling, Eleo was the one who planned this whole party."
Oriana was speechless for a moment and Mrs. Summer continued, "And Eleo, Oriana mentioned that you bought a dress for her. Is this the dress you bought? Why didn't you inform me that you prepared a dress for her? It really suits the party's theme."
Eleo replied, "The dress Oriana wore at the beginning also suits the party. Unfortunately, a drink was spilled on it. As for this dress, it is my gift for Oriana," while making eye contact with Oriana.
Oriana felt shy and avoided his gaze. Then, she gazed back at him with a quiet murmur of thanks. Soon, the guests gathered around them to take some photos and they also gifted some presents to Oriana. Oriana was busy handling them and she was unable to talk with Eleo.
The next day, Oriana was sitting on the sofa while watching her favorite reality show. Eleo walked past her and sat beside her but she was unaware of his presence as Oriana was too engaged in the show. Eleo, who was sulky with Oriana's unawareness, decided to annoy her and he placed his head on Oriana's lap to seek her attention. Oriana was surprised by Eleo's action. She whined and asked him to move aside but Eleo completely ignored her and played his mobile games. Hopeless Oriana threatened Eleo by calling her parents and this made Eleo a little panicked. When he heard the voice of Mr. Summer and his footsteps heading towards the hall, Eleo got up a little to sneak at him. Eleo saw Mr. Summer was in the kitchen and couldn't see anything happening in the hall.
Eleo mockingly went back to his original position. Oriana, unable to bear with Eleo's childish behavior, shouted to call her father. At this moment, Eleo realized he had to stop teasing her, and before he fully got up, he kissed Oriana and straight away jumped to the corner of the sofa. When Mr. Summer came to the hall, Eleo acted like nothing happened while Oriana's face turned red. He asked Oriana the reason she was screeching from the hall and she said Eleo was teasing her. He smiled at their behaviors and saw Mrs. Summer walking down the staircase.
Mrs. Summer questioned them, "Aren't you guys supposed to be studying since the semester break is going to end soon?"
Eleo, and Oriana sighed and headed towards their study room.
At the room, Eleo voiced out, "So, you really want to be a professional dancer? Which university are you planning to enroll in? "
Oriana stated, "I'm pretty serious about being a dancer and thinking of joining a school of performing arts but I haven't decided to join which university, maybe somewhere nearby this city. What about you, Eleo?"
Eleo, who was busy with his handphone, was startled by Oriana's question and took a few moments to answer it.
He said, "Hrmm, me too...."
Oriana was pissed off with Eleo's actions and she snatched his phone to look at it. He was searching for a university based on Oriana's expectation and he was also finding about the availability of a school of business in that place. Eleo scratched his head as Oriana glaring at him.
Oriana doubtly asked, "Don't you think I will bother you if we were to study at the same university? Uhmm..."
Eleo responded while sulking, "As if someone cares about me. You didn't even realize I was sitting next to you just now."
Oriana chuckled at Eleo's complaint and approached him.
She caressed and told him, "No one will be happier than me if both of us enroll in the same university."
Eleo smiled and said, "I know," while holding her hand and fondly looked at Oriana.
