It wasn't much shock when we find out a few months later that I am pregnant.
I was expecting that he will be glad about it, but much to my dismay, he has been in a terrible mood after finding out.
If he is silent most of the time before, more so now. We barely even speak. I don't know what has gotten into him but it bothered me to no end. I decided to visit him in the throne room and ask why he was behaving in such a way.
"Your majesty, we tried to stop the queen. I am sorry, you said you are not to be disturbed, and I failed," the poor magistrate came rushing in, trying to stop me from coming to the throne room.
"How dare you speak of something so absurd. Guards, seize him at once," he motioned for the royal knights to seize the magistrate.
I kneeled before the king and begged him, "Please spare the magistrate, I am to blame. He tried to stop me, but I insisted to see your majesty."
