"Why did you do that?" Rin asked, after he pushed her away.
"Don't think much about it, it is simply how we show our gratitude in this place of the universe," Maru said, smiling as if the kiss meant nothing.
Before she can continue what she was about to say, Rin pulled her close to himself and kissed her deeper than the first.
Shocked, she closed her eyes. It has been so long since the last time he kissed her this way.
It was hard, their lips colliding with such passion that would have placed anyone in shame. He was hungry, tasting her as he slides his tongue inside her mouth.
The kiss sent her mind flying into space as his fingers entangled themselves into her waist. His eyes finally fluttered open as he stared into her.
"Why did you kiss me?" she asked hopefully, her lips still trembling as she gasped for air.
"To say welcome," Rin couldn't help himself from smiling. In truth, it was just a twitch on his face that showed so uncharacteristically.
