What is it?
I checked under the desk where my personal computer was, I felt an electrocuting sensation in my eye from bending too much. My shadow loomed around while I checked every nook, there wasn't a time that I would have prayed for a smaller room.
It vied for my attention, wiping around me, I hissed "Not now shadow!."
My heart raced after I pulled off the bedsheets and felt for it on the bed. My phone rang, my head reeled, so much noise, Shadow stopped in front of me and waved, I moved through it.
"It's important."
Mila looked up from her paperwork when I hurried down the steps.
"You haven't eaten yet."
"I'll get on that," I said impatiently and traced my steps back to the dining table, checking under the papers for it and my seat, I jerked up, maybe there was hope after all.
"What's the rush, you should be resting too."
"I'm looking for something, where's Robbie?." I said quickly.
