Frank smiled while looking at this dwarfy golem.

'Looks like creating artifacts isn't too hard, for now at least'

As soon as Frank thought this, a golem has crumbled to dust. The Stone Golem combination was levitaing in the air emmiting a bright light, cracks could be seen on the icosahedral's edges.

*CREEE*

The gem has turned to dust with a screech, all of the runes inside were crushed into dust.

«Heh»

Frank chuckled at his early smugness.

'Anyways, I have all the time in the world to perfect my control' thought Frank while preparing to construct the Stone Golem combination once again.

He saw that previously the cracks on the gem were at its edges, so he though that the problem was in the Energy Runes. He knew that the runes were placed correctly, so the problem was in the surroundings.

Feeling around with his aura, Frank noticed that the concentration of the Energy Runes in the surroundings was less than what was written in the book, that was most likely because of the different laws inside of ECURA. ECURA combined the laws from 4 different multiverses, so it's not strange that it have developed strangely.

Thinking about how to resolve this difficulty, Frank decided to study the Stone Golem Heart because it was formed inside of ECURA, so its structure must be different from regular ones, so Frank could learn what to do from it.

Seeping his aura deep inside the Stone Golem Heart, Frank closely observed its rune structure. What he saw deeply impressed him, but not surprised because he was expecting something like this.

The Stone Golem Heart that he was holding wasn't a Natural Artifact, it wasn't even made out of runes, well, not completely. It had some runes in the outer shell, they served like some sort of container for magical inscriptions held inside. Right, magical inscriptions.

Mages from the Magical Multiverse used these. It appears that the golem that Frank fought wasn't a Runic creature, but a Magical one that was formed with the help of runes.

This made things more difficult for Frank, but more exciting as well.

Hungry glint passed through Frank's eyes. He became hungry for knowledge when he was on Earth, but his hunger was somewhat supressed by danger all around him when he was transported here. His supressed hunger for knowledge was unleashed once more at this moment.

'There're so many possibilities in this place!'

Frank's emotions stirred his aura up, making it flare like fire. But after few seconds Frank quietened down, making his aura as calm and steady as mountains.

'No matter how many possibilities this place holds, I need to survive first to see them.'

After finding out that he can't make the artifact yet, Frank started feeling around with his aura once again. He was trying to find Mana, he wasn't searching for Spiritual energy because he knew that he couldn't sense it no matter what.

He couldn't find anything for almost 5 hours, but after this he felt something different. The feeling was very weak and strange, he didn't see or hear anything, it felt like something was resonating with the very core of his being.

Frank was trying to catch that something, but it was escaping every time, so he decided to wait for it to come closer.

After a week of waiting, Frank felt that this something was close enough, so he entrapped everything in the surroundings using his aura. Most of the energy escaped, but some of it was trapped.

Frank opened his eyes. What surrounded him was a transparent energy, it looked like the air was distorted by the heat, but it wasn't.

Frank tried directing the energy into his soul and it was pretty easily done by his aura, the energy trapped inside wasn't trying to retaliate, like it has accepted its fate. Energy flew right through his soul, not doing anything.

'It seems like I can't store Mana because my soul isn't from Magic Multiverse, but it's okay I can make a Mana Storage from the runes here by studying the Stone Golem Heart more.'

Frank could sense and control Mana, like every being which is capable of thoughts and have strong enough soul could. But he couldn't store it inside his body, because Mana Vessel is an organ which only Mages from Magic Multiverse have.

The beings from Cultivation Multiverse, for example, have Meridians and Dantians to store Spiritual Energy and Spiritual Roots to feel it.

The beings from Science Multiverse don't have such things though, so their brain is much more developed from birth instead. It doesn't mean that they're always smarter than the beings from other Multiverses, beings from there have their own ways to become smarter, it's just harder for them.

Holding onto the Mana using his aura, Frank begun studying the Stone Golem Heart closely. He was inspecting the runes in the outer layer.

The outer structure and the number of runes was the same with the combination he did before, but the arrangement of runes was different. At the apexes stood 12 Stone runes, at the edges were 30 Life runes and on the sides lied 60 energy runes.

'Hmm, in this structure Stone Runes make the ‹skeleton›, while Life Runes are placed for better preservation and nourishment of the thing stored inside, they also make the structure more flexible and durable, the Energy Runes are what holds the energy inside, their number should represent the maximum capacity of the storage and in/output of the storage.'

'The structure's form is also slightly different, it's not the perfect icosahedral, but somewhat elongated one.'

'The runes at the apexes furthest from each other are strange.'

«Wait»

'These aren't Stone Runes.'

'Or... No, these are stone runes, but why are they shining?'

Frank tried concentrating his aura even stronger on these runes, he even let some Mana slip away, to have more aura at his disposal.

But the Mana that slipped away from his control have started converging on one of the two shiny Stone Runes.

Frank was surprised by this, but continued waching the runes closely, to see what will happen next.

The Mana that was sucked into the shiny rune was redirected into the rune furhest away from two shiny runes. This rune begun shining as well and the structure of the shell wasn't alongated anymore, it was stretched into three directions instead. It seems like shiny runes repel each other.

The shell was becoming unstable, so Frank quickly let more Mana out. 9 out of 12 Stone Runes became shiny, but the instability wasn't fixed.

Frank let out all of his remaining Mana, making every Stone Rune shiny.

After all Stone Runes were imbued by Mana, Frank saw Stone Runes emmiting some kind of strings, which connected to the Stone Runes nearby, piercing through Life Runes on the way.

The Life Runes pierced by these strings obtained gray-ish tint to them, making them look very sturdy.

The Stone Golem Heart was looking like an ordinary icosahedral stone now, not emmiting any Mana or aura to the outside. It was much sturdier as well.

Frank tried controlling it with his aura and it worked like before, no changes to the power of stone control and no new abilities either.

'But what if I had infused Mana into Life Runes or Energy Runes?'

'It should be much harder though, their number is much highter and they're placed in difficult positions as well.'

Frank was tired of all the thinking, so he went to kill some monsters.

Frank went into the room to the left of the centipede's room.

This room was interesting, to say the least.
