Frank understood how his senses of touch and temperature worked after inspecting himself for a while longer.
It wasn't that they weren't connected to the brain, but that the organs responsible for them were drifting everythere in the material that was constructing his body, meaning that Frank could ‹touch› his organs if he needed.
Finishing his inspection, Frank couldn't help but notice that thinking became faster than before, because he can process more thoughts in less time now. It could be because his brain was enchanced by mana and didn't need to waste so much processing power on controlling organs - even though Frank's organism was stronger than human's it was still much simpler in structure, mana helps a lot.
'There's no more liquid on the floor, which means that it was used in my metamorphosis.'
Bending down, Frank picked up the artifacts that were ejected out of his body, but he didn't activate them yet, he wants to change their structure to better suit himself, as well as enchance them so that they could fuse completely with his body.
Frank put artifacts in the cocoon bag and suddenly had an idea.
'This bag is at its last straws already, should I make myself a new one? Definetely yes, but an ordinary one will not last long and will just be destroyed in one of the battles, so I need to make a new artifact.'
'I should make it so that it won't be nuisance in battles as well..!'
When Frank thought about this, a crazy idea suddenly appeared in his mind.
'What if I make it an organ? Like for example a special belly for storing, I know that some ants have these.'
When a thought appeared, Frank immediately began working like possessed. He didn't have even the slightest idea about how to make it, the book didn't have such information. He didn't know what runes to use for this, or how to, but his body moved on its own, calling the runes from the surroundings and arranding some of them to form a combination.
Frank's mind was blank, different combination ideas flooded it, but stopped on only one.
This combination looked like a green bag with stone mouth. The outer layer was made out of Life Runes with some Gravitation Runes placed there and there, inner layer was covered with Size and Growth Runes on which were inscribed Information and Absorption Runes. The bag's mouth was made mainly out of stone runes with the assistance of Air, Size and Seal Runes, some Information Runes with Emition Runes were inscribed there too.
The bag looked magnificent with all of the runes shining, but then it disintegrated into nothingness and runes in the surroundings scattered.
'Now I know what it feels like to be enlightened about something.'
This occurence was mentioned in the book, but only slightly because the author didn't experience one before.
What Frank encountered was a small enlightment, it helped him complete a new combination but didn't help him understand principles behind it. But Frank already understood how it works even without enlightment, so it didn't matter much.
The choice of runes was obvious, but the position of runes and the order of their placing was more important. Placement and Order of Placement are the main problems of creating advanced combinations and artifacts, at the same time choice of runes is very easy most of the times. At least that's what the book said.
The placement and order of placement were so important mainly because runes are too straightforward with their effects. To make them do things that they don't do normally you need to combine them with different runes, so the placement is necessary for stability of the artifact, while the order of placement determines which runes are main in the construction - main runes have the best effect, while other runes just suplement them, there can be several main runes at the same time but they must have absolute stability in their placement or else the artifact will just collapse.
But overall the artifact ‹blueprint› creation isn't too difficult compared to the artifact creation itself. During the creation you need to constantly have the blueprint in your mind because a single mistake in creation means failure, while controlling the runes isn't as easy as Frank makes them seem, he has aura after all - it's very rare in Rune Multiverse.
The book mentioned several methods of controlling the runes, but not in depth, just for comparison: Manual control (elementary level difficulty), Reactional control (intermediate level difficulty), Telepathic control (high level difficulty). The difficulty level is only an entry threshold, while the methods' potential is mostly dependant on the user in later stages.
Frank began envisioning the artifact's blueprint in his mind while inspecting if there're any flaws in it, he was preparing for the creation.
Not being able to see any flaws in the blueprint, Frank began doing something he didn't do before - he was attracting runes in the surroundings using his aura. He didn't know he can do this before his enlightment.
Even though it was a first time he was doing this while being conscious, it was easy because of Frank's prior experience of collecting mana. After some minutes a lot of runes were floating around Frank, while even more were moving in his direction, but Frank stopped attracting and just trapped the runes nearby, because it was already enough for creation.
There were two main runes in this artifact - Life and Stone Runes, with Life Runes making the bag itself and Stone Runes making the mouth of the bag. Having made the base, Frank began the second step of creation - inscribing the Size and Growth Runes on the bag's insides, while inscribing the Size and Seal Runes on the bag's mouth. After finishing this, Frank began the third step - inscribing Information Runes on the bag's insides and then, without a pause, inscribing the Absorption Runes right on top of the Information Runes and continuing right away, Frank started inscribing Information Runes on the bag's mouth and then Emition Runes right on them.
Then came the final step - inscribtion of Gravitation Runes on the bag's outside and Air Runes on the bag's mouth. The artifact was complete after this, so a new wave of information stroke Frank.
-----------------------
[Collector's Bag]
[Tier 1]
[Featherlike - half of the weight of the items' stored inside will be nullified]
[Boundless - can increase its size infinetly as long as there's enough free space]
[Information Storage - can store infinite amounts of information recorded on Information Runes]
[Sealed T1 - no one under T2, aside from user, can open the bag]
-----------------------
'Oh? It's already considered Tier 1? Even Mana Storage was of Tier 0' thought Frank, while beginning to collect mana from the surroundings.
Even though he was a lot more proficient it still took him a long time to complete the task. It was because the amount of mana he can store now was MUCH bigger, he could enchance the Mana Storage wholly in one try now and will still have enough mana to do so two more times.
He will still not have enough to enchance the bag fully though, it contained too much runes in its composition.
He was already somewhat experienced in enchantment, so he understood that the order of enchantment was very important. For artifact to not explode Frank needs to enchant Life and Stone Runes first, so he did so. The enchantment took slightly different forms than in the Mana Storage, but the functions were similiar - Life Runes took the form of green leather, while Stone Runes morphed into stone tor (imagine donut) connected to the leather bag.
Next, Frank enchanted Size and Growth Runes, together with Seal Runes. After being enchanted Size and Growth Runes Melted into the green leather and stone mouth making their color lighter, whereas Seal Runes formed a lock symbol on the stone tor, from which extended black strings covering the whole bag and protecting it from harm.
Following this, Frank began enchanting Information Runes inside the bag and on the stone mouth, while enchanting Absorbtion and Emition Runes inscribed on them at the same time. Information Runes enchanted together with Absorbtion Runes inside the bag formed a red mouth symbol, while Information Runes fused with Emition Runes formed a blue mouth symbol and from them extended some red-blue strings connecting them together. This step was complete, only the final one remains.
After refilling his mana fully to be sure, Frank began the last step - enchanting the Gravitation Runes on the bag and Air Runes on the stone tor. Frank was right to refill his mana, because despite the fact that Air Runes didn't need much energy to enchant, Gravitation Runes took a whole lot, but that wouldn't have expended even a half of his mana still. What devoured the most of his mana was a process of Air and Gravitation Enchantments merging into one, forming a vibrant blue circle symbol on the bag. At the instance the enchantment was completed, Frank was assaulted by information once again.

[Collector's Bag ♦]
[Tier 1]
[Weightless - weight of the items' stored inside will be nullified]
[Boundless ♦ - can increase its size infinetly as long as there's enough free space. Have the potential to include Space Enchantment]
[Information Storage ♦ - can store infinite amounts of information]
[Sealed and Unbreakable T1 - no one under T2, aside from user, can open or destroy the bag]
-----------------------
Seeing the bag's attributes Frank was very pleased, especially about ‹Boundless ♦›, because it means that he will have an infinite storage in the future.
Frank wanted to use his blood to bind the artifact to himself, but remembered that he didn't have any.
'Well, considering that the mana flowing inside my mana veins is practicaly my blood, it should work.'
Frank absorbed the bag into his belly, like a cell would do to ‹eat›, and let some mana from his thin mana veins seep into the bag binding it to himself, as expected.
Bag quickly assimilated with Frank's body, becoming his new organ. On the outside, the bag's mouth looked like Frank's bellybutton. Frank can open and close the mouth with one thought, so it was very convenient.
With assimilation's completion Frank received new information.

[Collector's Bag ♦] was transformed into [Collector's Belly], attributes didn't change.
