Cleo woke up having a severe headache due to a lack of sleep. What she told her handmaiden is the opposite of what she ready did last night.
"Ahhh..." i touch my head hoping the severe pain will be gone and ask Adelle to get me some pain killer after.
I closed my eyes and rested for a while. "How will i be able to gather information if my head is killing me." I said while massaging my forehead. And when Adelle return immediately drink the medicine she handed me.
After a few minutes of resting and massaging i could feel that the medicine a drunk is starting to have its effect.
" Adelle do you happen to know where is the old archive?" I asked after i sip my tea and i saw Adelle flinched and started to step backwards.
" Pri-princess?" She stuttered, like is that for real. Adelle never stuttered.
" Do you know or not?" I asked her again with authority. She sigh and begun to talk.
" What i know is only a little but i can not guarantee you that this is still valid." Adelle explain to me.
" Before you were born there is this library that only few of the royal family are permitted to enter. The king, the queen, the chancellor and the crown prince." She said.
" Wait only the crown prince.?Could it be because the crown prince will soon be taking over the king and must know all the records of the previous kings.?" I asked Adelle.
" Yes princess that is true and also those records are being guarded by the palace knights unless you had a special pass that allows you to enter the archive."
"A special pass you say. Hmmm.."
Should i ask brother Harrith later. But will he not get suspicious of me. Or should i tell him what is really my plan. I think i need to write a letter for my brother.
" Adelle can you do me a favor? And please do not tell anyone.?" I asked adelle while she is preparing for my bath.
" Anything you ask of me princess i will do it for you." I smiled at Adelle. Adelle's loyalty is incomparable that is why i trust her so much. After i finished my bath I ordered Adelle to deliver me a very special message to my brother Harrith.

I Adelle a handmaiden of a young Princess, Princess Cleo who i have been serving her since she was a child. I can still remember. I was 41 years old back then and being a royal maid is not that simple i almost gave up but i saw a beautiful lady who happens to be the current kings favorite.
During my lunch break i often saw her reading books under the tree. i took a 3 days off and when i came back I go to the tree where she used to seat and read books but Days, weeks and months had pass I still waited and hoping i could see the lady but i never did and then i was called by the chancellor and he appointed me to become Princess Cleo's personal handmaiden.
" From today onward until you retire you will be the personal handmaiden of the 14th Princess" the chancellor said. I look at her and Im guessing that she is only a weeks old baby.
" chancellor may i know who is the mother if this child so i could introduce myself to the lady?" The chancellor look at me with hesitation. I heard him sigh. What could be the reason why the chancellor sigh.
" This young princess's mother was executed." I was shocked i squished my chest as if i was the one who is hurting. The princess's mother got executed for what reason.? I couldn't asked anymore because i know in this kingdom if you got executed that means you committed a serious crime to the king and this young Princess will have to grow up alone starting now.
