I arrived here early than i expected. I don't mind waiting if the view in here is magnificent like these and I'm glad that a brought my book along with me to kill some time. After a few chapter i heard some foot step and when i look back i saw my brother walking towards me.
" Sorry Cleo I am late. Did you wait that long?" He asked me. He looks so tired did he do a lot?
" Im so sorry if i took some of your time Brother Harrith."
He massaged his nape easing the tension that causing pain. Does he have so much works to do?.
" Don't mind that. Its been a while since we had a talk like this so don't worry too much. " He smiled at me.
" Your handmaiden told me that you need something?"
I look at the tea in front of me. I took a deep breath.
" can you help me go to the archive room?" He looks surprise with my sudden action.
" Do you know whats inside the archive? And do you have any ideas who's allowed to enter the archive?" I nodded at him. I saw him brushed his hair using his fingers.
" What do you want to know?" He get straight to the point. Should i tell him why i wanted to go to the archive. If i don't tell him he might not permit me. I release a deep sigh and started explaining.
" You told me yesterday that a month or so from now,I will be wed to a king from the neighbouring kingdom right?" I saw him nodded.
" And before that happens i wanted to know what more about my mother. I don't know anything about my mother aside from being executed due to a treason and also being a commoner. That is what they told me about. I wanted to know where mom did really came from and why do i look different from all of you. I have so many un answered questions in my head. Where did mom came from? How did mom end up being a concubine? Who was behind moms trial.?" When i look at harrith i saw his sad face.
" Do you know that unfolding a forgotten history may lead you to a great danger Cleo?"
" I am aware of that but I couldn't help myself. Not only my moms real identity but also mine was hidden inside the archive. If you let me just know what really happened to mom i promise you brother i will accept the marriage without a word. " i beg him while holding his hand. I don't care if i look desperate in front of my brother but i must know who was behind the investigation of my mother's execution.
" Please don't do this to yourself. Whats inside that archive must be kept. If the chancellor or the king finds out about you entering the archive not only you but everyone who got involve will be punish."
He explained, but nothing can change my mind no matter what happen i have to find out everything. If i got killed so be it.
" I will take full responsibility. I will not drag your name. Please, let me see my mothers information. No one knows my mother even Adelle she only knew that my mother was a previous concubine and was executed. This is my last chance. Please brother."
I beg him. He is my last hope to know what really happened in the past. He looks so worried. I heard him sign again.
" I can't help you obtain the pass…"
I was really hoping that he could help me. Then i guess i will have to do it on my own.
" Prince Harrith thank you for coming here. And please don't tell anyone about my plans on going to the archive. I will be going now. Thank you for your time."
I stood up and walk, then all of a sudden prince Harrith was in front of me.
" H-how did that happen.?You were sitting there?." i look at the gazebo and his not there anymore i touch his shoulder to confirm if his really in front of me.
" how did you do that?."
" lets walk back to the gazebo before i tell you my plans."
