"Why is the person staring back at me, me when I was fifteen?" She said in disbelief.
Looking closely, she looks sick. There was a time when Diana was twelve, she was severely sick. During that time, doctors were in and out of her bedroom, treating her. She had suffered from severe anemia which sometimes would cause her to faint. She was very small compared to kids her age and had a difficult time making friends because of this.
Despite this, she had one friend. This one friend is Odette. Odette would stay with her all the time. They were inseparable. They would do everything and anything together. They were even lucky enough to always have their classes together.
But despite being so close, they were nothing alike.
Diana was quieter, and shy, and had difficulty meeting and making friends. Liked to spend time outside, alone. Loved to read. Had long brown hair with green hazel eyes.
Odette was loud, extroverted, and didn't have a difficult time meeting and making new friends. Liked to be inside, with people always around her. She was what others would describe as a people pleaser. She loved having attention. But didn't always get it. She would always want to have her way. She has long black hair with black eyes.
The difference between these two was obvious.
This started Odette's jealousy towards Diana.
She always wanted everything Diana had. Diana, without trying, had attention everywhere she went. She was known to be the prettiest out of the two. But when they were younger, this jealousy was nothing more than what a child would feel towards another. Odette's jealousy and hatred towards Diana grew the older they got, but one specific event triggered it all.
