And the voice belonged to Scott
" Oh hey everybody" said Scott as he came waving his hand smiling
Another big shot added to the uncontested group in the party 3 champion 1 Frontier brain member one owner of battle frontier and 1 warden who sticked out like a sore thumb.
" If it isn't Scott " said Steven
" Oh are you gonna tell us how it came to be that the Warden became the pet for Cynthia ?" asked Lance grinning
" Well it all started " Scott started
(Flashback before the party )
Ash was dispersing with the crowd who were going back to their hotels and place of residence for the party and he too was thinking about his place of residence whether to rent out a Pokemon center but he imagined there being no more rooms left or should be just camp out in the woods nearby and as he was reaching the gate to the exit he saw an all too knowing face it was Scott waving him to come towards him
Ash made his way towards him and started with Scott silently till they knew nobody was around them
" So how have you been ? " asked Scott
" Could have been better " joked Ash
" Hahaha good good so do you intend to win this tournament? " asked Scott
" Well technically I do but I feel some strong auras so I don't know if that's gonna be possible " replied Ash
" No need to be so modest hahaha we all know you are one of the contenders who has a chance to win
Underneath his face mask Ash smiled softly cause he knew Scott truly believed he can win
" Ahhhhh I remembered Ash I already reserved a place for you a very special place infact " Scott replied out of the blue with a grin
" With a grin like that I imagine it's gonna have drawback too ? " asked Ash as he understood there's a hidden reason
" Well do you have a place to stay already ? " asked Ash as he got up and personal with Ash
" Well no I was thinking about camping out " replied Ash
" Nah while I'm alive I ain't gonna let you sleep without a roof do now just follow me " replied Scott as he started dragging away Ash
Ash fell asleep in the car as he hadn't gotten a decent sleep in a long time because of always being on guard but knowing he can trust Scott he slept and after a half an hour of driving they reached but seeing as Ash slept peacefully Scott decided to let him sleep a bit and during that time he would go get the owner's approval
It was a massive mansion with its own gardens and maids and Butlers could be seen tending to the large mansion
" ahhhhhh if isn't mister Scott ? " asked a beautiful women with purple hair wearing a maid's outfit
" Is the mistress in Vanessa? " asked Scott
" Yes she is and is waiting in the study room please go ahead " replied Vanessa
Scott was heading in towards the study room but stopped and said
" If it's not much trouble can you look after the guest inside the car and let me know if he wakes up " asked Scott
" Yes it would be my pleasure " replied Vanessa with a smile as she headed towards the car
after climbing the stair case Scott is seen holding his breath feeling exhausted and as he entered he saw Cynthia in her home clothes with spectacles reading through some documents
" Ahhhh welcome in Scott have a seat " replied Cynthia without taking her eyes off the document
" Always busy huh ? " Scott joked
" Well the region isn't gonna run itself now is it ? " Cynthia joked back
" Must be hard being a champion for so long huh nobody can beat you " laughed Scott
" Well jokes aside did you come in with the guest I'm supposed to take care of ? " asked Cynthia
" Yes he's sleeping in the car and Vanessa is looking after him " replied Scott as he started looking around
" was his journey so long that he feels tired ?" asked Cynthia
"Nope he was running away from getting hunted " replied Scott which got Cynthia curious
" Am I gonna be housing a criminal now ? " questioned Cynthia seriously
" No no no just trust me and follow me all will be clear " requested Scott as Cynthia gave in and followed him
As they neared the car they saw Vanessa caressing and petting the head of the Warden as he slept soundly
" Something I didn't expect to see you doing Vanessa" laughed Scott as he looked at Vanessa who was staring at the Warden with pity and sadness
" So this is the guest I'm supposed to look after " asked Cynthia as she expected Giovanni but not a Warden and to top it all her all too cold head of the maids looking sorry for the Warden
" Mister Scott who is this person and why is he filled with such sadness ? " asked Vanessa which shocked Scott and Vanessa
" What do you mean sadness Vanessa ?" questioned Cynthia
" He seems to be in constant fright and terror mumbles a name and twitches and his aura always seem to be fighting within him " replied Vanessa
" Ohhhh you can read aura Vanessa ?" asked Scott
" Yes mister Scott I do have some aura guardian's in my family line and though not as effective I can read some auras " replied Vanessa never taking his eyes of the warden who started shivering
" What fo you mean his auras are conflicting don't all of us have only one aura " asked Cynthia
" Yes champion and that's what worries me he seems to have two auras one light one that is on the verge of being consumed to the darker aura " replied Vanessa
Which drew the curiosity of all present as it was a shocker for them and all of a sudden Ash suddenly woke up with what seems to be tears falling down at the side of his mask as he instantly got into a battle stance as he quickly pushed himself out of Vanessa's lap and out of the car and drew out a knife from his trench coat as it seemed he didn't know the situation he was in and seemed in a state of shock and panic
But he suddenly stopped and dropped the dagger as he heard a voice behind him
" Pika...Pi " Said a Pikachu who had some scars but seemed to look at the Warden with curious eyes
