Trip back to memory lane
Kara never mentioned She lived there when she was a child and their local favorite Italian restaurant service was exquisite. And everyone there was so welcoming. The restaurant was elegantly designed and clean, and the food was amazing.
Good food and family gatherings had been the highlights of kara's childhood and this Italian restaurant would provide the perfect opportunity to keep their family bonded. So her dad bought it when she was a little girl and turned it into a family restaurant.. The optimal time to approach her siblings would be at the family get-together"
Her family was very close and as she gazed outside and looked around the memories came flooded back!
Tonya and the girls noticed a cute little boutique They noticed from the Italian restaurant with a red awning and with Black trimmings. The name of the Boutique was
" Heart of Gold BOUTIQUE "
Hannah knew she couldn't leave without going to the boutique, because she noticed a certain beach dress on display in the window with a straw beach bag on the mannequin's arm and a straw floppy hat on it's head with the cutest sunglasses.
" Mom I gotta have that dress "
Hannah was at the edge of her seat shaking her legs because she was so excited, Hannah please that dress will be there when we finish eating. Just chill out with the legs. Ok, I'm Sorry and looked at Kara with puppy dog eyes.. Oh enough with the puppy eyes Hannah, you know how it gets to me.. " Yes I know "
Tonya and Chasity looked at Watched Kara and Chasity while they were having their conversation and Smiled the whole time while eating spaghetti and salad and Garlic Bread. " WOW " I wonder if that will work on mom? Chasity asked! " Don't even think about it " Tonya knew it wasn't gonna work on her!
After Dinner they head on over.
They enter the boutique and the bell on the door rings. An excited voice greeted her and by the spirit of the presence she felt walked in
" inviting and heart warming "

Hannah noticed her spirit and knew her voice even when she didn't say a word Hannah noticed it.. BUT no one else has had the experience they both share with one another! It was a bond only they had that they shared together..

Alexia's gaze lifted from Hannah's brown suede shoes to her white V-neck lace dress.
"Do you like it?" I found it at the cutest boutique store online." Hannah spun around, one hand on her left hip, modeling the dress for Alexia as if she were on the catwalk. " I think it looks gorgeous on you. You'd better be careful."
Kara didn't realize Alexia on the other side of the clothes rack!
Mom here's the outfit isn't it amazing
"Did she say by how much?" Kara asked!There was more than a hint of desperation in her voice. "Don't worry, Mom ," Hannah's voice was steady and comforting. I'm still convinced I wanna buy it.. I just wanna be sure to get them in my size " I can't perform miracles, but I promise to do my best."
Kara then noticed Alexia
" Alexia Renee Wheaton "
You still remember my full name ? Alexia asked! DUH Kara knew it all along" GIRL.. Come over here and get the biggest bear hug another mama bear could use. " I thought you moved ? " Kara asked Alexia..
No unfortunately everything we need is right here! "HERE" yes here! This is mine and mom's boutique! Alexia looked at Hannah and Smiled! You mean this is your's ? Hannah asked! Yes all of this boutique and the restaurant!
Kara eyes glanced over to the restaurant with BIG EYES! Shocked of the big news
" YOU MEAN " Yeah.. The man who owned it last noticed mom at a Seaside restaurant near the marina and noticed how much effort she put into her job and asked her if she would be interested in keeping a family legacy going since he was too old to keep it going and made her an offer and before we knew it she opened it 3 years ago.
Kara could recall many fond memories of the restaurant with her family and Alexia's mom hanging out together after shopping at the local mall in their younger days."
After a day at the mall they'd stop by a local 50's Diner for some of the best milkshakes they ever had, before they headed back to the restaurant before they headed to Kara's house for a slumber party every night!
Mom are you Ok? " Hannah asked " She saw Tears falling down her mom's face and Kara Looked at Alexia and put her hand on her should and carefully pulled her towards her with a soft heart and held her tight as the thought of her childhood lays in the hands of this wonderful girl and Her mom.. I'm so proud of you Alexia of you and your mom both! Where is she I'd like to get acquainted with her before we leave here ?
Hold on Mom we're not finished shopping yet! Tonya and Chasity is still looking and I'm still looking around! You brought friend's ? Alexia asked! Yeah.. They're our neighbors and best friend's. Mom works for Tonya and her husband at the dentist office and does other work for them!
Alexia: I'm Impressed! After mom opened the restaurant she started on this boutique. That's where she's at now. She left the boutique in my hands so I can make a living for myself and take on my full responsibilities and grow in more maturity in life. " This is my Happy Place "
I get to see Momma's, teenagers, and kids coming in the store with a smile on their face while shopping and seeing them happy that they made the right choice of purchase! This place is bigger then you think and holds a special spirit about it!
Oh I know what you're saying, I could feel it from the restaurant across the street.
Kara to Hannah.. Honey, I need to tell you something that might shock you.

Chasity noticed from where her and Tonya was standing and noticed a relaxing and calm presence overtake the room and walked over to Them and felt the same presence overshadowing with a blessing in her heart! " That's your dad's Restaurant ain't it ?
Hannah shocked to notice She wasn't the only one who felt the same way after capturing her mom's facial expression and the tears she shed when she gazed toward the Restaurant..
All of a sudden the room became silent..
Tonya don't know what to think! But goes back to shopping and found something she knew Kara would thank her for finding it.. It was a picture of Kara's dad and what the Restaurant looked like with Kara and her mom and all of her siblings in it. She sneaks it in between a couple shirts so Kara couldn't see and found a small jewelry box and put it in there so Kara couldn't see her sneak to buy it and ruin the surprise.
This will make those happy tears cry, but it's worth it! Tonya was amazed and didn't let Kara notice her little moment she had in her own silence and began to keep looking around!
She noticed another young girl at walking bye and behind the register and went on ahead and took it to her to buy it and asked her to wrap it up like a gift. " I sure can" and grabbed a gift bag and paper to fill it up with with no charge! Aww How wonderful with a smile on her face..
Now you have a big load do you wanna go ahead and buy the rest of your things with this ? Sure, Tonya answered! I just love this little boutique, it does have quite a charm to it! You can say that again. This place is magical in it's own way.. Alexia notices the sweet presence of silence slowly fading away and gets back to work!
Kara is tiresome after driving all day. Hannah you girls just finish shopping and I will sit outside in the bench and take a cat nap. "Mom" Hannah wanted this to be a mother daughter bonding time while shopping!! if you do you'll be tired for the rest of the day.. I'll BE Ok, Everyone noticed Kara's eyes getting heavy. Mom, let's just finish up here and find our motel and go lay down for a while and take it all in and then you can take a well deserved nap, afterwards we can go swimming or go for a good walk on the beach and buy some of those delicious drinks at the pier.
You mean slushee's ? Kara asked! Yes mom Slushee's.. You know.. you remember what they were right ? Yes I remember! Just finish up and we'll head out.. OK, but you are coming with me, Right ? Right! Kara answers in a tired voice and yawns.
So they look around for an extra 10 minutes and find everything they hoped for! Kara stopped Hannah before she started buying everything. Wait a minute you didn't try on that outfit Hannah! Oh that's ok Alexia said; She don't have to. She's my size She's always been my size since we were kids. Ain't that right! Ok mom she's proved my point! Now can I go ahead and buy my things ? GO AHEAD! I oblige. Kara ready to leave in a hurry.
So they pay for everything and Chasity looked at Hannah as if she was blessed beyond measure to have a friend who knows what she wants and smiles with a warm feeling on the inside.. I can't help it! How do you of all of my friend's have such a connection with people like you do ? I don't know must be a gift? Hannah knee what was coming next She looked at the corner of her eyes with a smile on her face while watching Chasity trying to figure it out! " I'd say "
They get to the car and Kara puts the top down so they can enjoy the breeze in their hair while looking for the room. On the way they stop by the pier for slushee's and pulled up to the drive through service where they bring your drinks out to you and you can pay for the drinks from your vehicle! Hannah sitting in the front passengers seat turned on some Relaxing pop christian music on her phone through the car speakers.. She finds it appropriate for a beach trip to keep up with her positive energy and the energy from everyone else.. Damita Haddon music playing in the background Chasity is enjoying the vibes and relaxing to the music while they all wait for their slushee's.
Across from the them a certain family friend noticed Kara and she lifts her sunglasses to be sure Kara was who she thought she was seeing and Hannah and Chasity get out of the car to the overlook to see the ocean with Kara following behind her and Tonya didn't wanna feel left out so she followed along the side of Kara!!
My, oh my, look who it is.. The woman in the other car say's!! Kara locks the doors, but keeps the music going since it was connected to Hannah's phone by Bluetooth with her phone in her pocket and it was where they parked to watch the car from the distance where they were standing to watch the waves and the palm trees, while they wait for their drinks.
The woman in the car noticed and Gets out and locks her car doors. Well I need to at least get reacquainted with my best friend who I'be not seen in forever!! She'll be surprised to know I now own two businesses. Yes that's right! Kara's best friend who is Alexia's mom.
" Kara" .. Kara thought she heard someone calling her name! " KARA "
Kara turned in the direction of the new voice and broke into a smile at the young woman with flowing blonde hair and green eyes as she trotted over to join her.
" OH MY GOODNESS " I just met your daughter today she said you two were still living here! I sure am.. And they grab each other with a warm hug. From the time they were little girl's they never spent a day without each other, now they don't since Kara moved. Kara feels to let everyone meet her friend Amy Wheaton! " Come in meet my daughter and our friend's "
While they all get acquainted Amy Orders her a Bahama Mama with Rum..
RUM ? Kara shocked " Yes Rum.. "
I didn't know you drink!! Girl every night during the Time they turn on the light's I come here and let my husband be in charge of the restaurant. Sometimes after he closes up the restaurant he'll meet me here and we have drinks on the yacht with some friends. " Wow " Hannah shocked to know a friend of their's is filthy rich and they didn't know..
How amazing is that ? " A yacht " Chasity excited and pulls Hannah to the side! Do you think we can get a ride on that boat if we ask your Mom and Amy ? I'm sure she don't mind, since this is a vacation.
That way we get to have fun and Mom can reunite with her friend's! We'll ask her when we settle into the motel!
" Oh yay I can't wait " Chasity skips with joy and happiness.. Ahh! Isn't this the life ? It sure is.. Breathing the fresh crisp air off the waves.. she answers herself! Hannah smiling with laughter at Chasity!
Uhh miss your drinks are ready.. Oh ok.. I'll go grab my mom and everyone else and we'll grab them! Oh no we'll bring them out to you, since you're new around here! Plus it's a drive up service.. Oh OK! Hannah looks to see how charming and handsome this guy is and has the biggest smile on her face that could brighten the whole day.
The waiter noticed her sweet smile and looks and noticed her body Language was the way to get him to notice her and Grab's all the slushee's and noticed where she was standing and took the orders to her. Would you girls like anything else ? Uhh.. Amy what all do they have ? Kara asked! Anything fast food! Amy answered! I want Loaded potatoes with bacon bits.. Oh my I love those I want one; Hannah noticed she was in a mood for loaded potatoes or cheese fries with bacon.. We have both the waiter replied! Ohh that does sound good Chasity wanted one.. Go ahead everyone else make an order I'm paying!! No you're not.. Kara don't want to take away from her friend! Go ahead Kara it's my favorite place and It's my pleasure to bless someone today! Hannah felt such a positive vibe from Amy. Mom it's ok, I'll buy my own.. No you won't Hannah I'm buying everything! This is the perks of marrying into a wealthy family and owning two businesses. Well if you insist on that then I'll let you buy this food! Oh and Girl's I know Florida so I can take y'all all around Florida! Oh and You won't have to drive everywhere, you can even saved money on gas Kara! That's true Kara agreed! OK.. Now there this will be so much fun, I can feel it!
