Chapter 13 - Commitments.

Amanda.

The next morning she woke up with swollen eyes and a headache.

She picked up her mobile phone and texted Jung. And sat down to wait for a reply. It's funny, that she thought about him the first thing in the morning.

As usual, he replied within seconds. She rubbed her forehead and moved towards her wardrobe.

Today she had to look her best. Yes, She was going to look her best and not going to give a damn about anyone or anything.

Yes, Anyone as in a certain somebody.

She got dressed in a blue shirt, denim jacket, and jeans.

She left her hair loose on either side of her head. She was ready.

Jung came to pick her up half an hour later by that time Amy was done with her breakfast.

"Hey!" She greeted him with a hug, Much to his surprise.

Jung.

"Hey, Kitten!" He smiled as she made her way towards his car.

He took the driver's seat and took a good look at her.

She looked pretty, With light makeup and her hair loose on either side of her head.

Jung smiled and started the car.

"Where to?" He asked once he was speeding the car on the main road.

"Somewhere peaceful," She said.

After several minutes they were seated side by side at a park a little far away from her house.

"It's really peaceful in the morning, So I thought..." He shrugged and smiled sheepishly. He was afraid that she might not like it here.

"I like this place," Amanda smiled at him.

"Oh that's a relief, Are you okay though?" He asked.

Amanda nodded and looked at him.

The winter's morning wind was blowing her hair back and forth. A lock of her hair settled over her face.

Jung gently tucked it behind her ear.

"Hey, You can always tell me anything you want to,"

"I know, Jung," Amy whispered. He looked at her, he can't just help it. He wanted to keep on looking at her. She was beautiful.

"Amy, I know you're not attracted to me that way..." Jung left his sentence hanging and looked at her. "I guess this is not the right time,"

Amy smiled, Tears started forming in her eyes.

Jung noticed the tears and laid a comforting hand over her's. Amy looked down at his hand and then straight into his eyes.

They were a shade of green and blue. They were beautiful.

"I won't ask you what's wrong, If you feel like it, you can tell me. I won't force you."

"Jung," She whispered.

"Yeah?"

"Kiss me," She whispered again.

He raised his eyebrows, His heart started beating super fast.

He brought his face close to her and wiped a tear, which had broken free from the deep prison of her eyes and was now on her cheek, with the tip of his forefinger and cupped her face in his hands.

"Are you sure?" He asked. She nodded. That was all he needed.

So, he kissed her.

Very softly and gently.

She didn't feel those sparks that they tell you about in books, But she definitely felt her heart give a lurch. The memories started coming but she blocked them. This was not the time to think about that.

He wrapped his arms around her and she felt really safe in them.

A few hours later they drove back to her place.

He kissed her on her cheek and drove away.

Amanda.

Amanda went straight to her bedroom and dialed Wren's number.

"WREN!" She cried as soon as Wren picked up the phone.

"Hey calm down, Did you kiss Ansel again?"

Amanda rolled her eyes.

"Shut up and no I didn't kiss Ansel. I actually called to tell you something,"

"Yeah?"

"Jung and I kissed,"

There was silence on the other side for a few seconds.

"R-really?"

"Yes, And I think we might start dating,"

"OH MY GOD!" Wren yelled from the other side of the phone, Amanda had to remove the phone from her ear.

"Amanda, I'm so happy for you. Thank God, you forgot everything about Ansel,"

Amanda rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, thanks for reminding me, though,"

"Uh-huh sorry,"

"It's okay, I'm just really happy."

"You deserve to be happy, Amy." She heard Wren say.

"Thanks."

"Okay, Amy I was actually fighting with my sister over the last packet of Nachos. I'll talk to you later."

"Okay talk to you later," Amanda said and ended the call.

Jung.

This name suddenly filled her with joy.

Ah. What a beautiful feeling.
