Chereads / Babysitting the bad boy's brother / Chapter 2 - Winter Vacation

Chapter 2 - Winter Vacation

Amanda.

"Winter Vacations at last!" She yelled and jumped on her bed.

"Honey, It's just a month now let's see what you can do?" Her mother sat down on the bed beside her and took out her phone. She rolled her eyes and sat up straight.

"Mom! Come on, I want to enjoy my vacations. I want to party, spend some time with my friends like a normal teenager. I don't want to go to the art class or yoga or whatever,"

Her mother, Mrs. Wealth shot her an aggravated look.

"Amanda, You're seventeen, And I want you to do something new every vacation you get..."

"Yeah yeah, It will do me good. But mom, please! Only this vacation, Please,"

Mrs. Wealth shook her head.

"No, Mr. and Mrs. Luck, Our neighbors have some work this month and they'll be out of their home a lot and Mrs. Luck asked if I could arrange a babysitter for her son and I gave her your name. Babysitting starts tomorrow,"

"Mom! I don't even know her son!" She shouted.

"It would have done you good if you'd have looked around and met people, but you always have your nose buried in a book. And, you're not going to date their son. He's a six-year-old boy."

Amanda was bursting with frustration and anger. She wanted to protest, but she knew it would do her no good.

"Okay, Whatever you say Mum. I'll babysit the little man,"

"Amanda it's for you, you have to know how to handle kids when you have your own." Her mother tried to make her feel good about this situation, which wasn't helping at all.

She rolled her eyes and made her way towards the bathroom, Where she could text her friends in peace.

"Your dad loved that idea..." Mrs. Wealth was saying but Amanda wasn't paying any attention.

"Okay, Mom!" She yelled and shut the bathroom door.

Amanda Jean Wealth

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wealth. The younger sister of Carlos Wealth.

Green eyes, Blonde hair, a fit body and 5'4 height. She was beautiful.

Quite popular among her peers but not very popular among the real Famous People of the school.

But the leader of them all was, of course, The bad boy of the school.

Ansel

Light brown eyes, Dark brown hair, Perfect body including biceps and abs to die for, and 6'4 height.

He was of course one of the hot Gods of the school.

Ansel James Luck.

"Winter Vacations, at last. Now I have time to party. YOHOO!" He whooped as he jumped on the couch.

"Do not jump on the couch, Ansel! How many times have I told you that?" His mother shot him an aggravated look and he smiled.

"A hundred maybe?"

"I have to talk to you about something," He looked at her and rolled his eyes.

"I know, about the babysitter and your work. Blah Blah, I know."

"Yeah, Right. But you have to take care of your brother,"

"If I have to do that, then why is the babysitter even coming?" He demanded.

"She's our neighbor, I want you to keep them company. You should have manners."

"I do have manners, Mommy dearest. But, okay. I'll 'keep them company' if you raise my allowance."

Mrs. Luck rolled her eyes.

"Sure, if you behave yourself. If not, then forget it."

"Okay, Mum. I'll behave myself as you like to say. Even though, I'm a well-mannered guy."

Just as he said that, they heard a deafening laugh and they both turned around to come face to face with the one and only

Bella Luck.

His twin sister.

She was 5'9 and he was much taller than her, but still you could tell that they were twins.

"Why are you laughing?" He wanted to know, completely offended.

"Nothing, You and well mannered? Is it 2019 or am I in a different century?" She asked, controlling her laughter.

"Ha ha. Bells, You're so funny. Why don't you leave school and become a comedian?" He retorted.

"Aw, no need to be a cry baby. You know we all love you." Bella tried to make peace with him.

Whatever their differences were, at the end of the day they loved each other and understood each other more than anyone.

Amanda

Amanda was trying hard to hold her frustration.

"Why does mom do this to me?"

"Hey, What's up?" Her elder brother, Carlos entered her room and asked.

He was three years older than her and was in college, He had decided to find a good college near his house, In New York and he did. Because, their mom didn't want him to go to a college which was far away.

He had the same blonde hair as his younger sister, but blue eyes.

"I'm gonna babysit some little boy..."

"Alex Luck."

"Oh yeah... Whatever. I wanna enjoy my vacations!" She looked like she was going to start crying.

He sat down beside her.

"Hey, Just this time. And then next year I'll save you,"

"Really?" She asked. She knew he would. She trusted him.

"Of course, I will!" He patted her cheek and she nodded.

"I believe you, You better save me."

He tried to make her feel better.

"They're nice people. I know you haven't really interacted with them but you won't feel uncomfortable."

"I hope so, I heard they have an elder son too. Not that I'm interested, I'm just curious." Carlos smiled.

"Yeah, Ansel. He goes to your school. I haven't seen him much too, I guess he doesn't really stay home or something."

"Ansel?"

"Yeah."

"Wait, Bella Luck's twin brother. Ansel as in Ansel Luck?" She asked, her heart beating super fast.

"You know him?"

"Uh. Nope. I just know Bella." She lied. OH MY GOD.

"Yeah, okay. I'm going out. See ya'."

"Yeah. See you."

OH MY GOD. ANSEL FREAKING LUCK?

That jerk, Ansel Luck?

That handsome jerk, Ansel Luck.

Way to go, Amy. At last you're going to meet the Bad Boy. That idiotic bad boy.

Nice.

Ansel

"Man, Vacations!" He yelled.

"Seth, It's not the first time, And yeah I can't stay out more,"

"Oh yeah, I know." Seth nodded.

Seth Evans, Ansel's best buddy since kindergarten.

He and Seth were like the two death gods of the school, their killer looks made girls go gaga on them.

"This neighborly-Babysitter is coming, every day except weekends. So I'll have to stay and keep her company."

"Yo man! You're lucky." Seth thumped him on the back with a knowing look.

"Nah... Never. A babysitter? My brother's babysitter. For Christ's sake!" Ansel scoffed.

Clearly, He didn't know what he was talking about.
