Eiji looked at the screen with his hand on his chin, he looked at the screen with the same curiosity a toddler has on seeing new things.
"It seems, that I was right, but what's up with the last quest", he thought to himself
"So, I have to meditate for 5 hours and exercise vigorously. I can complete quests 1 and 2, but slaying a beast? Can a useless E-rank dude slay a D-rank beast?" Eiji said to the system,
"Host does not need to worry, there won't be any penalty for not completing quests" the system replied
After hearing this, he let out a sigh of relief. He quickly crossed his legs and straightened his back and kept his hand in Gyaan Mudra. He closed his eyes and started meditating. His body started sweating and his cheeks flushed.

In a very dark place, with no source of light, Eiji floated. His body was naked and translucent.
Slowly, numerous light-emitting points started appearing, and in a few moments filled the whole place with light. The place now just looked like the night sky, dazzling yet queer.
"I am back here, I am back to my soul expanse," he said with determination. "Now, where is that place?"
After saying that, he started flying throughout the black space, looking everywhere until he found what he was looking for. In front of him were seven large spheres, each sphere was at least a few kilometers away from each other. Each sphere at least had a diameter of one kilometer. There were seven spheres, three of them which were on the right were glowing brightly, while the other were completely black.
"I finally found my soul spheres," he said after letting out a sigh of relief. "Now, let's infuse that star", he said while looking at a light-emitting point.
The boy quickly floated towards that point. After reaching close enough to that point, he saw a brightly illuminated ball, which was quite large. He then started pushing the ball vigorously. The ball was quite large so, after struggling for around three hours, the boy finally reached his destination, the place where his soul spheres were.
The boy then pushed the star into the black sphere adjacent to the last glowing sphere. The star slowly sunk into the darkness of the sphere, once it was completely inside the sphere, a sound started resonating from inside the sphere, and it slowly rotated and kept on increasing its speed.

After a while, the sphere started glowing, and everything whited out. Eiji quickly closed his eyes. After a while, he opened his squinted eyes and saw that the black sphere wasn't black anymore; it was glowing dimly; it wasn't as bright as the three glowing spheres to its right, but it wasn't as dark as the three black spheres to its left.
The boy's lips curled up, a smile.
Suddenly, the rectangular screen popped up in front of him. The screen displayed a message.

The boy looked at the screen and said, "Oh, I totally forgot about you", he quickly switched over to the general tab to see his exp

Eiji slowly opened his eyes. In front of him was the television, which was turned on. He looked around the room to see who turned it on, as well as why someone was there in the first place.
After seeing everywhere in the room, he found no one.
"Well, whatever, I will ask a nurse later," He thought to himself
Eiji stood up and started moving towards the washroom in his room. After all, he was exhausted and covered with sweat from all the pushing he did. He reached the washroom's door and opened it. He saw a purple-haired teen boy taking a dump. After seeing this disturbing sight he quickly shut closed the door and shouted "Hefin what the fuck are you doing here?"
"Oh, I came here to check on you if you are doing fine", Hefin replied in an annoying tone
Eiji started frowning, and shouted, "Well whatever, just come out quickly, will ya?"
Hefin was Eiji's best friend, he was more like a brother to him than a friend, both of them used to live together, eat together, sleep together, they were always together since Eiji came to this city.
Even though Hefin was a Rank-B ability user and that too, at seventeen, didn't make him haughty and cocky like other high rankers, he was always down to earth and respected and loved his friends and family.
