"What should I do? How do I hide this? What if someone saw this?", these were the thoughts that flooded Eiji's mind.
Suddenly, the sound of the door opening came.
"Who is it," thought Eiji. When a familiar voice came, the voice was coarse yet soothing.
"Eiji, are you in the washroom?"
"Yes, I am in the washroom, who is it?" Eiji said loudly from inside the bathroom
"Oh, I am Doctor Huang, the doctor from yesterday" the man said. 'I am keeping a few forms here. Once you fill them, you are free to leave the hospital"
"Okay, I will fill the form"
"Please do, and try to write the information as accurately as possible"
"Yes, yes, I will"
After the conversation ended, the sound of the door closing was heard.
"That was a close call," Eiji said as he took a sigh of relief

Eiji now had changed into his casual clothes and wasn't wearing hospital's blue and white striped clothes.
He was on the reception desk, submitting the form that doctor Huang gave him a few hours ago to the receptionist.
"Thank you," said the receptionist in the sweet professional voice
"Thank you," replied Eiji
Eiji then turned around and started walking toward the hospital's exit, that was just opposite the receptionist's desk. The room where he was, the front lobby of the hospital. The room was quite large, with a lot of sofas all around the room, and people were sitting on them, waiting for their loved ones to return, some were worried, some were crying, some were looking at their newborn, while some sat there filling and pilling up documents.
From these people, Eiji found one man to be very intriguing. The man had a different vibe to him. He had black, moderately long hair with a shade of dark blue to them. The man sat there, stroking his small beard. Eiji kept staring at the man, because he could not make out what was the man thinking, the man's expressions weren't clear, it felt as if he was happy, serious, thrilled at the same time.
Suddenly, the man's eyes met Eiji's, and he started looking at Eiji with a small smile on his face. Seeing the man noticing him made Eiji nervous, and the man's smile creeped Eiji out. Eiji quickly turned his face and hurried out of the hospital.
Outside the hospital, Eiji stood on the gate of the Hospital, from where cars entered and exited. He had his phone on his ear and had scrunched up his face because of the sun.
"Are you here yet?", Eiji said
"Yeah, I am coming", Hefin, who was on the phone, replied
After a minute or two, a blue-black sports bike stopped in front of Eiji. On the bike sat a man wearing a full-face blue helmet.
"Hefin, you are finally here"
"Yes, now get on fast, or I will leave you behind"

The bike stopped in front of a two-story apartment building after an hour of traveling.
"We are home," Hefin said while taking off his helmet
"It feels it has been years since I was last here," Eiji said
After Hefin parked the bike, both of them entered the building and walked up the stairs. When they reached the first floor, there was a balcony-type corridor in front of them, on its left side were doors numbered from 1 to 5, while on the right was a long railing.
Both of them entered the door numbered 4. When they entered the room, in front of them, was a fairly normal drawing room with a sofa set, a coffee table, and a television. There were two doors in the room's right and two to the left.
Eiji quickly ran forward and leaped onto the sofa. He comfortably laid on the sofa with no care in the world.
"Finally back home!" he said

After eating the pizza that Hefin ordered as a getting well and coming back gift, Eiji went into his room and sat on his single bed, with his back straight and a serious expression.

Eiji looked at the system with seriousness and worry in his eyes

Eiji's heart started racing faster and faster, he went in deep thought, not knowing how to react, should he be happy or sad, what if he was a ghoul, what if he was a dragon, endless possibilities went through his mind, but he didn't change his expression, he didn't want to show his weakness to anyone.
"Alright," Eiji said as he switched to the inventory tab. The inventory tab comprised an 8x8 square, with 64 boxes inside it. All boxes were blank except one, which contained a book, the same book that Hefin gave to Eiji.
"Slot 1" Eiji thought in his head and the book suddenly appeared in his hand. The system had kept the book in the inventory earlier when Alois and Randi came to his room in the hospital.
