In the bench area, with a 3-meter distance away from each other, Shin and Ayase was standing against one another. They were prepared to charge at any moment.
"Well, you had accepted me as your trainer, but I don't know what kind of training method I should use to train you. I also want to gain some battle experience as you improve yourself, so I suggested this." Shin carried off his fighting stance.
"This idea doesn't seem bad at all. With this, we can refine our bodies and our minds together." Shin chuckled at himself. "I will call this method 'Mutualism'."
"I don't want to make an opinion about your naming sense, but l would like to say that I want this training to be started." Ayase brought off her fighting stance.
"Then, without further ado, let's go."
Shin and Ayase's "Aura Current" opened. Their stacked auras slowly proceeded to flow around their body. The atmosphere surrounding the area gradually became heavy, which made it hard to breathe.
The match had officially begun as they sprinted and landed a punch on one another's fist. A stream of wind crashed upon its impact.
Ayase was so eager to fight that she was faster at giving the second blow. But, Shin backed away far from her.
Shin rushed towards her again as he concentrated his auras only on his legs, boosting his agility more. On the other side, Ayase focused her auras onto her arms and legs, equalizing the produced energy.
A series of punches and kicks were launched by Ayase. She was just throwing some random assaults.
Shin dodged each of her attacks. While in the middle of evasion, he struck Ayase's gut. He smirked as he said, "Your move is a good one right here, Aya."
"Ohh... You noticed, huh." Her voice was loud and sounded like an echo. Numerous people with the same face as Ayase appeared around Shin, making him cornered inside the encirclement. There were four circles of Ayase orbiting him.
"I didn't ban this kind of trick, so I guess I will go all out." Shin powered up as he materialized his auras around his whole body. His initial black aura changed into the hue of vantablack.
The first circle of Ayases came straight towards him. Shin raised his right leg and heavily stamped on the ground, creating vast clouds of dust on the battlefield. The illusions thought twice on coming forward as they couldn't discern properly.
With them being stuck like that, Shin took the opportunity and defeated the first and second circle of Ayases caught inside the dust. They vanished into thin air.
The clouds of dust were out of the third and fourth circle's range, so they did not hesitate, but they couldn't see what was happening inside the clouds of dust.
One Ayase from the third circle went inside to check the dust. Right after entering, she was thrown out by a kick. She was grabbed by her co-illusions, but she helplessly disappeared as she took quite a big amount of damage from him.
The Ayase circles couldn't help but fan the smoke by kicking it away from there. Due to their efforts, the thick smoke lost its density and thickness.
They can now vaguely see inside the smoke, but they couldn't see where Shin was. One Ayase from the fourth circle cast her eyes at the sky and exclaimed, "HE IS THERE!"
Shin was levitating in the air as he was counting something in his mind. 'Dang! This is heaven. There are currently 27 Ayases here.' He shook his head. 'Nevermind that, I should end this made-up reality.'
Except for his index finger, Shin closed his left hand. He tossed it downwards, pointing at the illusions. A significant amount of auras surged from it.
"Peak of Detonation... BOOM!" *BrRuGHk!" An explosion directed towards the area blasted all of Ayase's solid illusions away and instantly perished.
The real Ayase was crouching as she wrapped herself with her arms. She knew that something was off when Shin was pointing his finger, so she took cover before the actual explosion happened. Although she was hurt, it was only minimal.
"Tch, you've done it, Shishi. I was trying to minimize the usage of my sorcery, but regarding this situation, I think that I should not hold back anymore." Ayase stood up with a dusted and scuffed clothes. She jogged away from him while facing his direction.
Suspending his levitation, Shin came down to the ground. "Don't give me that nickname. Pick a normal one, Aya." He chased her, clenching his vantablack aura-infused fists.
"Why so serious and tense now, Shishi?" Ayase clasped her hands by closing them together. The auras from her body were suddenly released everywhere.
Shin caught up with her as he hurled a right hook, but it went right through Ayase. It felt that she was there but she really wasn't. It was some kind of trick using her magical arts.
Shin snickered as he turned his back to look at Ayase. "This training session was supposed to be a regular one, but... I want to have a battle with you using hand-to-hand combat with mixed infusion only, if you may." He retracted his Tails of Limit skill, converting his vantablack aura into its usual hue again.
'What a cute face.' Ayase smiled at him. 'I like this... No negativity is coming from him, just full of positivity. I wish I get to see this every single day.' She pulled out the intertwined palms away from one another.
"I guess so... Sure." Once more, Ayase and Shin rushed towards each other. They had excited expressions on their faces. It had been a while since they had so much fun.
Her auras were focusing on her left leg. She struck him by doing a left tornado kick at him. Ayase was always quick in giving attacks.
Of course, Shin was not the type of person that would go down easily. He blocked her spin kick by closing his right arm firmly. "That won't do it, Aya. Put some more Zeno on it."
"If I did, you would be forced to go back at your Soul of Sovereignty," Ayase said as she chuckled. She drew her leg out away from him. Her auras in that part of her body went neutral.
"What an arrogance you have there." Shin can't help but chuckle as well. He lowered his posture down to Ayase's waist level. A barrage of ordinary punches were running amok, delivered by him.
Ayase tried to block each of his punches with her bare hands, but it was so fast that she didn't have enough time to infuse her auras on her hands-on defensive mode.
Shin realized that Ayase wasn't using aura infusion as she defended herself. He continued giving the barrages with less raw power, just so she wouldn't get any injuries from his hands.
Shin swept his left foot on the ground. He used the clouds of dust produced as a distraction for her.
Ayase coughed as she sniffed some of the dust. She fanned her surroundings to get rid of the smoke.
During her actions, Shin went behind Ayase. He grabbed her arms by locking them with his own arms.
"Admit your first defeat, Aya." Shin kept on locking her arms. Additionally, he also locked her right leg with his own leg.
'Dang... He got me. I can't weave my hands to manipulate magical arts due to his constraints.' Ayase was struggling to get out from his dominance. Later on, she stopped attempting to break free.
"What the? You surrendered?" Shin's suppression became tighter to make sure that she will bring out the phrases.
Ayase giggled. "Why would I? I have the advantage." She purposely made herself fall on her back, planning on crushing Shin, who was on her back.
'I didn't think that through. I might consume my remaining auras if I will use this again.' Shin thought as they gradually fell onto the ground. "Well... It's now or never."
The gravity's pull broke off. They were not falling anymore as if someone intentionally ceased its spontaneous effect.
Ayase sensed a voluminous aura behind him. She summoned all of her courage to look at it. It was none other than Shin.
Shin was trying hard not to fall by simply strengthening his legs with Tails of Limit to make them stuck and steady on the ground. His vantablack auras were constantly leaking out.
He had canceled the fall. Ayase was amazed by his intuition.
As they were back safely on the ground, Shin loosened his grip on Ayase and stepped backward. With his better right leg, he aimed to kick Ayase's head, but fortunately, he resisted midway. Shin was just intimidating her.
"How should I tell this? Uhm, scary." Ayase raised her arms, giving a sign that she had officially resigned from the battle.
Shin put his leg down and annulled his Tails of Limit. "I will take it. That concludes our training... No... More like a scrimmage. HAHaha."
"Yeah, yeah. We are done here now. We might as well eat lunc—" The moment Ayase turned her head to see him, Shin fainted and fell to the ground.
