There are times in our lives when we get caught and we get lost.. We get lost from the peer pressure, stress, anxieties, hurts, pain, wrongful influences and so on.
There are times that we tend to forget our spiritual faith. We tend to lost hope and fell out of love. We become so disconnected in everything. Therefore, we become disconnected with God.
Life has taught me many things and I've learned the hard way.
"I get hurt, I felt the pain, I slept on the streets, I disobeyed.. I took the risks".
Sometimes we do things and we say things without thinking.. and yet, we ended up doing what we may be capable of. In life, we will never know what is going to happen. We cannot predict what is going to happen tomorrow and what are the possibilities in the future may bring. Life is full of surprises. Sometimes we make sacrifices to go through with many possible challenges we may experience. It may be a financial problem, relationship problem or even inner peace issues related to our spiritual beliefs. I am not someone who is ashamed of my past. I'm actually really proud. I know I made a lot of mistakes and regrets but they, in turn, were my life lessons.
I admit I lost faith with God. I started wandering around and tried many different cultural beliefs to sort out my inner self (what I need to believe). From Catholic to Jewish to Christian then became an Atheist… my beliefs was sort of dysfunctional. Joggling my feelings and my peace of mind, but I never lost hope. I always knew.. there is something greater good!
You get in life what you have the courage to ask for. Despite with all my problems in the past. I learned to forgive myself. Forgive others without asking for any in return. Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced.
Sometimes listening and forgiveness gives you peace and light.
In every darkness, there is light. We need to learn how to look back, re-evaluate ourselves, and ask yourself… "what are the things I've done good/bad? Then, ask again… is it worth it?"
God's not dead. All he want is to pray and talk to him. All he want is to see the truth and be true to ourselves.
Sometimes God want us to experience some obstacles in life on how we handle the hardship, how we learn from it and get through with it. And to tell you the truth, most of us fail to seek for his help. There are times we forget to pray, we become unappreciative and ungrateful.
We forget to involve God into our lives (which is wrong).
God is Love. Without a bible, you learn nothing.
Without God, you are nothing.
You can be the richest, most educated person in the world. But without him, you know nothing.
With God everything is possible!
I wake up every morning, I thank God for the new day.
I sleep every night, I thank God for all the patience, sacrifices, understanding and for everything he has given me.
I am Catholic. I don't go to church every Sundays. But I have my own beliefs. I have my own prayers. It may not be sound as good as anybody but it comes from the heart.
I don't need to pray at the church like anybody else. I prayed anywhere I want it to be.. It can be by the beach, in my bedroom, in school, while I'm driving.. anywhere!
At least a 5 minutes of your time to pray can make a difference. It can be as simple as talking to God like a normal person in your daily life! God want us to be closer to him. He may not answer you right away because we need to learn and face our challenges in life. Otherwise, you will break or get lost.
God always listens. Your faith in God is going to be tested how strong you will be. There is no such thing as "Life is Easy". However, we must learn how to be true to ourselves and face our sacrifices and keep our hopes in a positive way.
I just find myself happy with the simple things. I believe if you keep your faith, you keep your trust, you keep the right attitude. If you're grateful, you'll see God open up new doors. The more you seek of him.. the more blessings has come your way ❤
