After ten minutes, the process started, they were all called to a conference room and were given some sheets, they were asked to answer the questions on this sheet in thirty minutes and only thirty people amongst them would be shortlisted.
Alex nervously skimmed through the sheet, but all the questions were related to his field of education and his mood brightened as he knew answers to almost all the questions.
After thirty minutes, Alex came out of the conference room with a bright smile on his face, as he was sure to get shortlisted and that's what happened, after an hour the top thirty people were shortlisted and Alex Kim's name was on it.
These thirty people will now be interviewed by the heads of different departments.
After another one hour, it was Alex's turn for the interview and he and four other interviewees entered the big room, where three interviewers were seated on the other side of the table, ready to interview them.
The five people sat on the five chairs, arranged in a row in the order allotted to them, facing the three interviewers.
Alex saw two middle-aged men, and a young beautiful woman seated across him.
'They all look so good' was his first thought.
'Do I fit here?' Was his second thought.
'Alex, focus. If you crack this interview, you will have a decent job and you can provide a good life to grandpa and your baby sister. Please focus' This was his third thought.
"Hello all, I am Kate, personal secretary of Ms Ashley Park, and one of your interviewers…" Kate then introduced the other two men and their roles.
The five people were now even more nervous, as the CEO's personal secretary herself was in this interview which meant, if they are hired they might have to directly work with this CEO.
The interview started, where the five interviewees were first asked to share their background.
When it was Alex Kim's turn, he mentioned the town he originally hails from, while introducing himself. The name of this town attracted Kate's attention.
'Wait, isn't this the same town that Mr Park mentioned years ago and asked me to find Mr Kim Jong Chul, who belonged to that town.' Kate remembered this information as she tried very hard to find this man, but failed at it.
This was the only task that Mr Park Paul gave her, to find Mr Kim Jong chul, and she failed at completing it.
Kate opened the file in front of her and went through Alex Kim's information sheet, and when she saw the name Kim Jong Chul, written in his guardian's name, she was shocked at the coincidence.
"Excuse me" She excused herself from the interview and immediately called Paul, Ashley's grandpa.
"Kate, long time, is Ashley creating trouble for you?" Paul answered his ex-secretary's call cheerfully.
"Mr Park, I have some news on the man you asked me to search for years ago" Kate directly came on point.
