Chapter 9 - Are you okay, Lisa?

"Lisa is absolutely fine, you don't have to worry about her. She will be back to her previous self as soon as we leave this place. For now, I have trapped her in a time loop." said Soya. Nancy backed away from her, "I am not going anywhere with you, and fix Lisa right now!" Nancy screamed at her.

"Nancy, I know you are also aware that if I turn her back to her normal self, she will never let you come with me, but it is very important for all of us. I have tried numerous times to fix everything on my own, but I came up short every single time. And if I fail with this last attempt, all of our timelines will collide with each other, and due to the gap in time, both of our worlds would be at end," said Soya. "I don't want to listen to any of your made up stories, fix Lisa first," said Nancy, with anger in her eyes.

Now, Soya started doubting her own decisions, whether she made a mistake by taking Nancy out of the time loop. And she had failed so many times on her own, it made her feel as though she needed Nancy's help this one time. Only Avon had the ability to see the future, but at the moment, he was not the Avon who had those PSUIT abilities. Soya tried to meet Avon many times so that she could see the future and avoid the incoming danger, but she was never able to change the future timeline. She tried to take Nancy's place many times, still, it didn't alter the future.

Looking at Nancy's reaction and behaviour, Soya freed Lisa from the time loop. "...and go back to where you've come from," Lisa completed the sentence that she was about to say before getting trapped in the time loop. "Are you okay, Lisa?" Nancy asked. Lisa saw that Nancy was standing in front of her with both her hands holding her shoulders. Along with being shocked, Lisa was scared now - Nancy was behind her before getting trapped in the time loop, and now she was standing in front of her. "Nancy, what on earth is going on? Please explain to me or I'll lose my head, I'm telling you," Lisa said, almost pleading with her sister.
