Flashback.

Jane was found by the Johnson family when she was fifteen years old.

Thomas Johnson is the father of Henry, a man famous for his expertise in running a mining company located in New York City. While Meghan – Johnson's wife is a famous woman among businessmen's wives. Meghan Johnson often does charity work with her friends.

Meghan is a good woman, loves her family, and loves her husband and children. Henry Johnson's only son is the pride of all of them.

Fate brought Meghan and Jane together. The young girl was found near death. The 15-year-old girl was almost raped by an irresponsible man. Fortunately, Megan's bodyguards found her and helped the girl.

For Meghan's kindness, Jane was treated even though she was slightly injured and traumatized. But in the end, Jane made it through that time, even though there were some memories that Jane couldn't remember. This is what makes Meghan, don't have the heart to let go of her.

With her husband's approval. Megan allows Jane to live in their residence, a large mansion where Johnson's family lives.

Jane worked as a waitress when she was fifteen, and Henry was twenty-four.

Actually, at that time, Henry had admired the beauty of Jane. A blonde woman with a beautiful and natural face. But there was something else that made Henry curious as Jane was always nervous when she saw him.

That night when Mr. and Mrs. Johnson went to an important meeting. A dinner with important officials who would be attending.

Just in the middle of the night, Henry sneaked downstairs. He went to Jane's room. At that time, he was only curious about Jane's figure. It had been almost a month that Jane worked at his residence. But he never had heard Jane speak to him.

Henry was thinking, is Jane mute? But all of Henry's questions are answered because Henry had seen Jane talking to one of the other maids. Although, Jane didn't talk much either.

"This is crazy! What are you thinking, Henry? Why are you sneaking around in the middle of the night like this? Just because of a woman? Isn't that wrong?" Said Henry, who was confused with himself.

The man had just descended one flight of stairs, and his hand tracing along the handrail. In a slightly dark condition, Henry still made up his mind to meet Jane.

But before he reached Jane's room. There was a loud noise from inside the kitchen. Making Henry's footsteps stop, and because he was too curious, and immediately turned his footsteps.

It turned out that Jane was in there. The woman was sitting enjoying hot chocolate and a plate of ginger biscuits. When she saw Henry enter the kitchen, Jane became embarrassed.

"Mr. Henry," Jane said and immediately got up from her seat.

"Jane, you're here?" Asked Henry, who also became embarrassed.

"Yes. I couldn't sleep, and I..., Would you like some hot chocolate?" Jane asked nervously, and she kept her face down more often.

Henry smiled sweetly, and he pulled out a chair for himself.

"Of course, I want. Hot chocolate, and what are these gingerbread cookies, may I eat?"

"Uhmm... Of course, you can, please," Jane said and turned her body quickly. Immediately she heated the water to make hot chocolate.

Henry watched Jane from behind. For some reason, anything about the girl could make Henry amazed. And she kept watching Jane's back until finally she turned around and caught Henry staring at her.

For a few seconds, the two pairs of eyes stared at each other in silence.

"Mr. Henry? Your hot chocolate is ready, and I'll just put it here. Excuse me, I have to go back to my bedroom immediately," Jane said and was still nervous, and she was about to leave Henry alone in the soup kitchen.

Before Jane got up from her seat. Suddenly, Henry immediately grabbed Jane's hand. Made Jane take her hand away quickly, even if it was a little rough.

"I'm so sorry, Jane. I didn't mean to startle you," Henry said and feeling guilty for Jane's blatant refusal to be treated that way.

"I just ask you to accompany me here for a while. It feels strange if I'm alone in this room. Mom and Dad are going, do you mind?" Henry asked politely.

"But, I'm just a worker. It would be better if I go back to my bedroom. What will the other maids say? If a master is in the same room with a maid like me," Jane said embarrassed and kept her eyes down, not daring to look directly into Henry's face.

"Jane? Why do you say that? You're a maid, but that doesn't mean you don't deserve to be with me," Henry drew closer to Jane.

"But, I don't want you..." Jane stopped when Henry cupped her cheeks.

"Jane... I've been curious about you for a long time. You know, every day I feel like you keep avoiding me. What's wrong? Even though you talk to other maids, sometimes laugh too. What's wrong? Have I done anything wrong to you? Haven't we met before??" Henry's question is very long, making Jane confused to answer.

"Master, you'd better let me go. What would other people say if someone saw us like this?" Jane said. She had just stared into Henry's eyes for a long time. Knowing Jane's thoughts and made her heart beat wildly.

It was the first time Henry had seen Jane's face so close. A face that intoxicated him, and Henry's hand immediately grabbed Jane's lips, couldn't hold it in anymore. Finally, a peck on Jane's lips happened for the first time.

Jane seemed to be bewitched when the twenty-four-year-old man kissed her. It was strange because her heart was no longer beating fast. But there was another feeling that was very hard to explain for Jane. Like people who are flying. Flying high, and it feels tense but fun.

It only lasted a few seconds, but it made Jane blush. "Mr. Henry, you just kissed me," she said while holding her own lips.

"Jane... yes, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to treat you rudely. I just wanted you to know... that I had a very strange feeling. Ah..., even though you are very young, and it would be foolish if I ..."

Henry's words were cut off when Jane suddenly distanced herself. The fifteen-year-old girl immediately ran. Whether she was afraid or worried was what Henry was thinking at the time.
