Mael stood in front of a worried Celestia. She wasn't sure how to react to the news. She stared at him one more time.
His face was covered with an eagle shaped golden mask. His white hair was tied in his usual bun and his body was covered with light armor.
His large white feathery wings were folded behind his back. She stood up and pressed a button on the book shelf revealing a dark box.
He watched her with a blank look . From the box , she removed the feather she found in her chamber. "I want you to find out who this belongs to."
"Also, we'll have to attend a program at Olympic Castle. Demons will be attending so stay out of trouble." She warned him.
"Alright will do Celestia." He bowed before leaving her alone. She placed her head on her table and closed her eyes.
Mael walked around the temple looking for clues. He had an intuition it belonged to a strange being but who or what? Maybe a God but the only God he knew was Eros. He inspected it closely and placed it in his breast pocket .
The Temple was quiet and he enjoyed the serene environment it provided. He remembered his first time in here. He really didn't like it and he could say the same for Celestia.
She hardly showed up when he started working with her and when she did show up, it was in her library. Her head would be buried in her books.
Sometimes, he would find her asleep. Although he was eager to carry her to her chambers, he couldn't do anything of that sort. He was more surprised when he found out she was a very open person.
She even permitted him to drop the formalities at least when they're alone but he was told to use her title in the midst of others. It took him a while to adjust. He met servants along the way and gave them a charming smile although they couldn't see it.
"Mael!" Neylar squealed from the hedge. He turned to see her small form buried in a heap of dried leaves. She bounced with joy when she sensed his aura passing by as if she was expecting to find him.
The creature enjoyed the Archangel's company and vice versa. He placed her gently on his shoulder and she quickly climbed his head to his hair.
The duo moved to their secret meeting place that was the cave behind the waterfall. Inside was cool with cobblestone on the floor and wall. They could see beyond the cave but the onlooker wouldn't notice any peculiar thing going on from outside.
"Change now!" She tugged on his hair lightly. He smiled and placed her genlty on the floor. He paused and watched the over exvited Neylar. "Alright as you wish." The mask fell with a light thud revealing his face.
She gaped amazed by his beauty. He sat beside her who had his mask in her paw nibbling on it occasionally.
He could say he was fascinated at the creature behind him. Although it had a close bond with Celestia, it knew when to talk and keep secrets.
The first time it saw his true form was an accident. He came here as usual to remove the mask. He didn't see Neylar laying in the corner, this time in her bigger form. It was after he removed the mask, she sensed a strong aura.
She nearly attacked him feeling threatened by his presence. He cooed her slowly afraid of making her more angry. That's was the first time he saw her angry.
She had grown ten times bigger and darkness engulfed her form. Her eyes had fire and smoke seeped from her snout.
When he wore the mask, she recognized him but had a confused look on her face. She kept tilting her head to the side watching him. He later explained to her.
"Where were you?" Neylar snuggled on his lap. He gave it a curious look. "Normal duties." He replied and Nelyar nodded uninterested. She remembered a task was assigned to her.
"I have to go!"She squiried away away before he could react.
He stared hard at the wall and turned his attention to the mask. The mask that hid secrets he was afraid of revealing.
He wondered what he was doing in a Goddess realm . He picked his mask and covered his face. When he reached the mouth of the cave, he purified the place with his angel aura getting rid of the strong one.
