Jackline was quickly enough to notice how his emotions fluctuate while speaking that specific line. She could not help but wonder what would have been the reason but she did not dwell on that. Aunt Adela nodded her head in understanding. So at least there was a chance for him to be one of the founding families. But she had to know more in order to ensure her niece's security at least till the time when this man is around. She took one sip and just asked again.
"Well that's great. Your mom must have been around my age! By the way, where do they live? In this same city or somewhere else?"
Jace halted in his moments. Only if he was aware. His emotions started to turn heightened but he immediately restrained and shook his head before answering.
"I don't even know where they are."
