"It is alright. Don't think about it anymore."
Jackline nodded her head and continued to eat her dinner in silence. Aunt Adela was able to notice as well and had made a mental note to ask Jackline what had happened today to make her so depressed. Before she was about to retract her gaze, she met Jace's gaze which seemed to be able to convey a silent message to her.
"What is the matter?"
Aunt Adela came inside the kitchen with Jace following her from behind. She looked at the young man and asked in a soft voice. She was worried throughout the dinner for her niece. She knew there were a lot of things going inside her mind but she was not able to directly ask her about them. Especially when she saw Jace signaling her, she was not able to control her emotions.
Both Jackline and Uncle Jonas were sitting in the hall watching some news and chatting happily.
